I have a 210 york. On the side of it where you would normally oil it one side has the bolt in it like normal but the other side is plugged with somesort of plug not sure what it is. Didnt know if anybody had ran across this issue before but the side that is plugged is going to be the side that is out so then I wont be able to oil it unless I take it loose. Is that like a freeze plug in it that can be removed or will I have to drill and tap it somehow?

As far as oil used, I got one rebuilt from ebay from an 18 wheeler shop as an a/c replacement part.  I paid $150 with shipping and a v belt clutch.  It has all new gaskets, and was filled using ester oil instead of motor oil like I've seen most people use.  The ester oil is a lot thicker, and most likely won't splatter into the airlines nearly as much.

Well wouldn't you just be able to use your factory A/C compressor? It does the same suck and and blow.......

I just did a york 210 on a 454 chevy. I am offering the brackets for sale if anyone is interested. I ran a Kilby manifold and oil separator. Fills 18 gallons pretty darn quick. Also, instead of buying expensive fittings, I pulled the head off and tapped the ports with a 3/8" NPT. Saves a couple pennies and looks better IMO. I also bent up a piece of hardline off the suction to a filter.
