So this maybe is good for what, 2 inches tops? Im just looking for just a tiny bit more to burry these 24's deeper.

Yeah about that, You can get some ball joints and a reamer from speedwaymotors.com pretty cheap. It makes it alot easier than the way alot of others have done it and cheaper.

Also after you do it and it still isnt enough you can always raise the upper arm.

Or raise the upper arm and say fuck the flip.

Bill, I see many different reamers and many ball joints to choose from. Can you point me in the right direction? My stock lower ball joints i believe are held with a snap ring? Also, im guessing my tie rods will then need to be flipped over as well? As it is, they are just about touching the frame when laid out.TIA!

Chris I am working on the part #s for you. I did not do this mod a friend of mine did.

I wish I would have done this because he probably has 100 bux in his front susp. I have about a grand.

As for the tie rods I reamed mine out and got an insert from Devious customs that was tapered for it then just welded those in.

you could use MOOG PN# K7069 lower balljoints

since no one asked me i will tell you what I do anyways...LOL For lower ball joints, use chrysler cordoba lower ball joints (the stock lowers were never ment to have the weight of the truck pushing down on them), flip the tie rods to the other side of the spindle and raise the upper arms up 2". If you flip the arms from side to side this will help you so you dont have to notch the firewall for the tires. If you do any of the 3 things I said with out doing the other 2, you will create bad bump steer. I have also used the beltech spindles and I think they suck, save your money and just use all your stock parts and just buy $50 worth of ball joints!

I raised my upper control arms up 3in's to lay on 22's i get very little camber on 16's but once i get 20's and a spindle i will get a little more camber but i can roll about a 1in from the ground and not eat tires i drove that way 170 miles to heatwave and did not wear the tires any!!
