all u got to do is jus reset ur truck by disconetting the neg. cable onur batt. leave it off for bout 5mins or so then it should crank bck up.. done the same crap to me brefore no biggie at all...

it was the ignition coil.

did you change the fuel filter? the crap can clog it, then when it sits not running, the crap in it can settle on the bottom, allowing fuel to pass thru, so change that too

it ended up being the ignition coil, but now I have a new fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pump relay, pick-up coil and ignition module in the distributor, ignition switch, and a new ignition coil. So now I have pretty much a new ignition system with the exception of the ignition key barrel..

ok, I was wrong. it wasn't the coil either. I let the bitch run yesterday for over an hour trying to see if it would get hot enough to shut it off, and nothing. it ran fine. now this morning, I go up the road to Advance for some wire caps, and get home and it dies in the driveway and won't crank back up. WTF. Anyone got any C4?

Take it back to Advance and have them check the alternator.
