dude my s 10 did the same thang bro it was the shift solanoid there is a 1 an overdrive and a 2 an 3 if the 1 an overdrive is gone bad then the truck tries to take off in 2 makes it feel very weak like it has no power also if you drive it and it shift from 2 to 3 it will not shift in to od and you can not down shift it in to first

I might be remembering wrong, but it sure slams into gear!

...but it's still the wiring cuz if a wire was wrong it would cause it not to engage...

Makes much more sense than it happen to go out at the same tima as i fuck with the ECM wires!
