Ok so story is Im probably going to sell my truck and buy a 94-97 Accord. With the difference I should have enough money to put in a nice setup.

This is the question for the people who have done air AND hydros. What would you do?

Option 1 - The Go EZ Hydro Kit (chrome kit) with 4 batteries and dry cell for about $3,500-3,800 with installation. Im guessing its a 2 pump, 4 dump setup.

Option 2 - Or I could get a nice air setup for about $1,500-$2,000 from SD.com with like
2 Viar 480 comps
4 1/2" SMC fill valves
4 1/4" SMC dump valves
10 switch box
2 5 gallon 8 port tanks
4 Slam 7"XS 600 psi dual port bags
2 KP 200 psi guages
1/2" valve lines
1/4" guage line
Viar pressure switch and relay 165/200 psi

And Im not sure how much installation would be...what like $1,000?

So ya what do you think would be better? Would the hydros get me more lift and sit lower than bags? And would that air setup be fast and almost get the thing hoppin? Ive seen some fast bag setups but the setup on my truck is slow.

Thanks for any help.

well i have had both but i love juice..but it is messy..and if you run juice get accumulators it will ride like a caddy with them...i run 4 pumps now but i did have two so 35-38 isn't bad from go-ez them boys will do it rite...

Oh ya I forgot about the accumulators. But about the mess, I heard if you get hardline or somethin you wont have to really worry about it?

option sounds nice. it can be messy like klownin said. some people say they never spill a drop but i dont know how, cuz i get that shit everywhere.

there are pro's and con's to either. If you have had air before then try juice this time.

and lets see how long it takes before this thread get way out of hand.lol

you need airstruts on the accord i think unless you are doing the bag setup like some of these guys but thats gonna set you back more than a grand. juice and air is the same the more you play with it the more things will break goez does great work so no matter wehat you do it will turn out good i would go to ez and see if they can give you a ride in a juiced car so that u can see the diffrence

Wait so with the Accord I would need to get airstruts, not bags?

And actually there is a guy who works there that has a juiced Accord.

If you get it installed correctly the first time it can be pretty clean, and if you never work on your juice it will stay clean. the problem is when you have to do anywork on it at all you will have oil on everything.

Ex: simple and most common task like changing out a check valve means you have to pull the line which is full of oil, then pull the dumps and accumulators both of which are full of oil, its hard to keep them from droping at least a little oil and like we all know just a few drops of oil spreads into a mess pretty fast, then the act of bleeding the lines back out is pretty messy, its not like bleading your brakes where you have a bleader valve that you can hook a nice little hose to and drain it into a jar or something, you just crack the fitting and let the oil pour out everwhere....

But Hydraulics with accumulators ride amazing, the sound is nice and inhearantly juice has slowdown(dump speed adjusters) which is always nice to tune your drop speed. I had bags on previous vehicals and Juice on the Rodeo and I will never go back to bags.

Hydarulics on an import car... well I have yet to see a setup that couldnt easily lock the suspension out when lifting... I dont see that many air setups that can claim the same amount of lift without alot of cutting and custom mechanical advantage suspension setups.

Good luck on the decision man!
