alright guys heres the deal ive painted a few cars before and used metalic paint before but right now im having a couple problems, im painting my truck a metalic silver basecoat/clearcoat. first time using metalic silver and i noticed that after spraying the base parts of the roof seemed darker then others, does this mean i did something wrong? next question is after the paint flashed i noticed a thin layer or over spray dust over the car??? because of these two problems i decided not to clear the truck, what should i do im just painting the truck in my garage?

the sides of the truck are good and even and the rest of the roof seems fine just this corner

did you seal it first cuz you might have whatever is under the base bleeding threw and silver is very transparent so you may also need a few more coats

yep i sealed the truck with a gray sealer/primer.

its weird i don't know but when i tried putting more coats on the spot got darker??? so i just left it to dry.

well if the rest of the truck looks good go ahead and clear it and if you still see it wet sand the roof and just re shoot the roof the clear will lock it down so it wont bleed trew
