if you shorten it you wont have much room for your bag just get a diffrent style ball joint that you can put in the middle of that plate

not real familiar with diff ball joints...would a screw in type work?? or what else is out there...? we were thinkin of movin them in but i will have to notch the frame for the strut part of the arm and the x member that it is mounted on slopes in behind that mount...but im sure i could make it all work if i had to...

you could bolt the lower ball joints on top of the arms instead, it may gain you a little.

i think that would make the arms lower then the frame

WHY DON'T YOU JUST MOVE THE LOWER ARM MOUNTS IN TOWARDS THE CENTER OF THE TRUCK ABOUT AN INCH OR TWO. DON'T JEOPARDIZE THOSE BADASS ARMS. I THINK YOUR PROB LYES WITH THE POSITION OF YOUR LOWER MOUNTS.

I wouldn't do much until I had a wheel of the proper offset of what you wanted to run on there. Also, It would be worth your while to temporarily hang sheetmetal on that frame to make a good call on what you can realistically do before the tire hits the fender.

OR MOVE THE UPPERS OUT AN INCH AND THE LOWERS AN INCH

ima set the cab on 2night..and get some good ideas on this.. nissandoordragger made a good point the bag wont fit if the arm is shortend or moved in,, i might get an inch out of it..and i know i can get a few inches movin the upper out but ima wait til i get the cab and fenders on...

Could you flip your lower ball joint? Drill out the Spindle and sleeve it to the reverse angle? that would probably fix it.

It does look like the lower balljoint is upside down for those arms.
