Turn the spindle over first and then see what it looks like. Raising the upper arm will change your front instant center, which in turn will affect other things. It would be best to leave it where ti is. But do you know if its even in the stock location now? Or if the arms are the same length?

I dont understand why you would have to modify them at all. I mean, if you are having someone make you custom control arms, they should bolt right up, and do what you need them to do, lay a big wheel, and give you no problems, and deffinentaly not bind up. If you dont mind me asking, Who made those for you?

i suppose you should deffinentally swap that spindle around, and see what your outcome is. But even if it lessens the camber by 10 degres, it still seems alittle off.

The Charter.net.

Taylor look at the spindle though. Its obviously upside down from the way it is supposed to be mounted. Look at where the tie rods would be. That wouldn't work.

And I know his arms where made by Kyle of Streetsweepers. I don't remember his last name. But I do know he had trouble contacting Kyle after getting the arms. And the arms reqiured custom work to make them fit.

we swapped it..much much better... but my upper is binding..Kyle Parscal from street sweepers built them..and like the control arm bandit took a year and half to get them to me and ran like hell...long story short.. here is a pic of it now...thanks seth. i really think raising it will help..unless you have a better idea.?

i love seth.... but i still cant get the arm in the setup location i could only go in and then its gunna get in the way fo headers and shit... so i think i gotta go up.

Thats much better. I wish I could be there to look at it. Its hard to tell you what to do based on pictures. But if its keeping it from laying I guess your only choice would be to move it up. But I would only move it up as far as you need to, no further. Basically unbolt the arms from the frame, lay it out, and measure how much taller your tabs need to be. I think moving the frame mount up nearly 2 inches is much too far.

what about up 3/4 and in 3/4.. thats laid out with maxed ball joint..and i will still have a bit of adjustability.....

ok... i haveto chime in at this point. i was reading this thread early. my girlfriend walked into the room and said, "whats wrong with that wheel? it looks broke" i gave a simple explination of "nobody knows at this point". so here it is several hours later and im now on the laptop and julie (my girlfriend)walked by again while i was looking at the same thread... she asked if that was the same wheel. i said yeah, and explained a bit about the conversation you guys had trying to figure it all out. long story short - she was amazed that with help from fellow minitrucker / friends it got fixed basically via the web in a few hours! mad props to go guys at working this one out!

she now says, you think you could post a pic of my nasty ass van on there so someone could wash it via the web??

anyway, great work guys and good luck with the build ryan! =)

now- if we could fix seth's carb!!!!!!!
