Got a chance to work a little more. Finally got my spindles in. Now just waiting for my MMW parts so I can build my new control arms. And now I cut up a perfectly good hood after I got a low profile weber air cleanerIn comes a first gen eagle talon hoodThe factory hood on my truck has a peaked bodyline down the center that wouldnt look right with the bubble, so instead of cut and butt I decided to overlap to get rid of the bodyline Almost resembles a truck

I've been following this build for awhile. I was hoping you would be able to keep the stock hood but I think the alternative is the next best thing.

i am glad you at least didnt leave the cut hood. on the other hand it looks as though if you would have lowered the motor the stock hood would have worked.

Nice work!, I am usually not a fan of grafted on bubbles and cowls, BUT I think this one looks just right on here. Maybe the higher profile of the factory is helping to blend with the lines of the truck, but it looks really good. Cant wait to see more progress!

Thanks guys. I'm body dropping the bed tomorrow and body working the hood so we will see how it turns out. Hopefully flows well.
