pretty sure all 3 kits have the same hinges... the sd kit for 430 includes latches and striker plates... but you can get those at avs for an extra 150

none they all suck and your door will fly open after you hit the first bump. the latches suck from all of them. dont believe me ask scr8pin92yota he will tell ya. ruined our project truck

Hagan looks like they have nice hinges. They are spring loaded so the door don't swing around freely while open.

sorry to jack your thread... but what hinges do you get off the wagoneer? the front or rears? and you got pics?!

All of the Wagoneer hinges front and rear work.

I also recommend bear claw latches. I personally use the power bear claw slim line and have never had a problem with them. The beauty of it is that its all one built in unit, solenoid and latch. Good price too!

After selling over 1,000 of our bear claw latches, not to mention running a set on our project Gremlin, I'm going to argue that our latches DON'T suck, and WON'T fail if they're installed properly.I WOULD recommend a deadbolt latch on any daily-driven car with suicide doors, because even if the latches don't fail, it would be easy for someone to bump the handle/ hit the button and open your doors when you're in motion...There are several cable-actuated deadbolts, and a few electric ones, available online and in the rod magazines- a cheap investment to keep your doors intact!

so i should definitely get the bear claws and not use the stock latch?

hell, use a barn door latch as extra if you are worried.

Had mine suicided for over 5 years without a problem! I use wagoneer hinges and bear claw latches. Minus my time and labor I have about $100 into my suicide doors. I'm not at all saying that stock latches don't work, just stating the facts about what equipment i'm using.
