max tell him hes a homo and that you apperciate the business but if he is bullshiting with you then that is no way a friend should show their loyality to you

Raw deal Max, thats why I charge everybody the same because of this exact thing, friend or customer. Sorry to hear that you lost a friendship over money but I guess he might not have been that good of friend to begin with.

I 100% understand. Not that my opinion makes a difference, but people are retarted when it comes to money. Good work isnt cheap and cheap work isnt good.

I hate to say it, but I know how you feel. I'm sorry to hear it though.

Shady business. It sucks getting burned. Especially when you are trying to help someone out.

Hey atleast you got some money out of the deal.....Everytime I try and "help" a friend out, I ussually spend my own money buying supplies to do the work, have to buy my own beer, and then on top of that the guy dont want to help me on my truck. Last time that happened (Last Month) I was out 5 days of working on my truck, and about $200. That's why for now on, i'm charging everybody. I rotated the wifes tires tonight, and dropped a bill in her purse. Gotta do it that way. When it comes to custom work, "friends" will bleed you dry.....been there done that. I wouldn't stand for the shit talking though. That would be a fight....

Trust me, I tread lightly when is comes to friends as customers. I had an invoice of all the work that I did and showed him where all the time went was when something took a long time. This guy wasn't a "friend" he was a tru friend (at least I thought so) We used to dinner with him and his family every week. They are who we went to Glamis with when we went. I let him take my '61 Cad for the weekend when him and his wife wanted to go out in style. I see where I stand tho. The shitty part is that he blamed his wife for the whole thing. What a pussy!

I have been through the same thing..and came to the same conclusion about 4 years ago for myself.BIG (thacru7 brought up the worst part...I dont even want money from my friends, but I did expect help on my truck.

sorry to hear that Max. money does bring out the worst in people or so they say. just know that the work you did is top notch and when something breaks you know it wasn't your doing. i'm ready to drop a "friend" over money so i understand where you're coming from.
