This is messed up

I was editing coverage of spring fling and I noticed this neon's paint job and it looked familiar to me when I realized where I had seen it. I looked and sure enough it is the rendering that Dougy Fresh made a rendering of this paint job for his own car. As one of his paying customers this really bothers me. I've paid top dollar for two renderings that I'd like to show off and I haven't let them been seen by anyone because of things like this.

The neon looks good and the work looks amazing. I compliment the owner, fabricators, and painters. I just think that its fucked up to take someone else's idea.

That sucks, that reminds me of the guy who stole Ernies rendering paint job, which i saw for sale a few days ago

thats stealing no matter how you look at it! i had someone get on my myspace a while back and steal a grafitti logo i made up. (thats why my shit is private now!) the design i created is now on a hip hop site being sold as $12.00 tshirts! if you arent original enough to come up w/ your own shit then leave it primered til the idea hits you! im an artist as well and i totally relate to the fact that - THAT BLOWS!

btw- i like the red better and those blue wheels look cheezy!

i hate to say it but there is a chance that he or who ever that came up with the scheme had never seen that rendering before. my buddy has a tat with a very very similar design thats on the cars and i guarantee he has never seen either one of these cars.

i've never seen the rendering before so i don't know how long it's been out there, but joey's neon has been painted like that for a while now...its completely different on the passenger side.
