oh well lol...joey's neon is on page 21 of dropjawmag.com's coverage of spring fling next to the retro astro van painted blue and woodgrain with rust and bird poo paint also...the guy who owns the van painted both

so the rendering was def. done first...it's def. very similar but i doubt he down right stole it off the rendering....could be wrong though

definitely used the same idea that the rendering had, and obviously inspired someone else to do their own version of it.... unless, d-fresh did a similar set up for that dude? I aggree with Lucky, the red design looks better to me too

i personally dont think its right, weve had customers try to get us to paint their vehicles like another vehicle theyd seen at a show they liked, but i wont copy other ppls work. at the same time, ppl come up w/ similar shit sometimes. i did a rendering for my friend paul bullis (sad to say passed on)isuzu and someone in my club told me that it had similarities to another truck, but id never seen the other truck b4.

by the way nice pic of my truck in ur coverage, seemed alot of ppl liked my tailgate treatment

I know both the owner and the guy who painted the car....

The guy who painted it is very talented and doesnt need to copy someones rendering......besides that scheme isnt original anyhow.

Assumptions are motherfuckers. Get a life.

i don't often agree with mr harryballs here, but let's be honest, why on earth does someone who dropped 150 bux on a photoshop rendering of what they "want", deserve to corner the market on said idea, just because they dropped the first 150 bux? You act as if anything would be different if the same person saw some show coverage of a ride, and didn't put they're spin on something they liked. Getting into specifics, how many of you coppied the first two tone vehicle or even the first traditional flamed vehicle. get over your selves, just cause someone dropped 150 bux, doesnt' mean they own the idea forever.
