Surely people still do this...

I HAVE 2 BUDDY'S WHO I CAN AND HAVE CALLED AT SOME VERY ODD HOURS. THEY HELP ME TO GET STUFF MOVED AROUND AND DONE. THEY ARE CLUB MEMBERS BUT THEY WERE HERE WAY BEFORE THAT. THERE'S OMLY A HANDFUL OF MINITRUCKES AROUND HERE AND WE BAND TOGETHER.HELL EVEN MY WIFE HELPS ME IF MY BUDDY'S JUST CAN'T MAKE IT WHICH IS RARE, BUT SHE DOES.SHE AND I HAVE TOTED MY BED AROUND THE YARD MORE THAN ANY BODY ELSE. SHE EVEN GOT THE TRUCK OFF OF ME LAST WEEKEND.I LET IT OFF THE JACK AND THE LINK BAR PINNED MY FOOT SO I COULDN'T MOVE. SHE'S DOWN,AND SO ARE MY BUDDY'S.IT' DEFINATLEY RARE TO HAVE PEOPLE THERE ANYTIME.

I competly agree with LndRanger86 my wife is in for the long haul also. To tell you one thing it is real nice to have the wife into what your doing, its great.

I WISH I had some more hard core truckers around my area. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of people who like mini trucks around me, but getting them to come over and hang out can be a chore. What happens is:

When were younger....friends are always around, helping out on a build, grilling food, hanging out and laughing. As we get older, other things in life take over as priorities. I'm single, have my own fab and paint shop and have minimal expenses that permit me to be a hard core mini trucker and work on my shit whenever I want. All my friends that used to be right there with me, are now married with kids, or moved away or in jail, blah blah blah. So it's reall depressing when I'm all alone working on my stuff or when I need a hand. I find myself making friends with younger dudes that are just as serious about the lifestyle as me to help out. Oh well, I guess the good times can't last forever. Thats just life, I suppose.

^ colin- i lived in cape coral for a while... only thing i saw were fart pipes and wild paint jobs on suvs or crotch rockets. is that shop still in cape coral (dont remember the name- think its around the hospital) dude did some crazy ass paint work. anyway, i never met one single minitrucker down there. i actually moved back after 9-11-01. this area is kinda dry too.

same here i live in jacksonville nc and there is not alot of minitruckers around here it's more fart pipes and big wings then anything. cause i needed help putting on my 4-link no one would help but i got it done slowly. lol

I FEEL ALL THE PAIN WITH ALL YOU GUYS. I'M THE ONE IN TOWN THAT DROPS WHAT HES DOING TO HELP OUT A FRIEND OR GET THEM THE BEST DEAL ON STUFF IF I CAN.HELL I RARLEY DONT EVEN CHARGE THEM WHAT I'M SUPPOSED TO BUT WE HAVE A BARTER SYSTEM THREW THE FRIENDS I DO HAVE THROUGH.BUT MAN I NEED TO GET TO WORK ON MY STUFF SOON CAUSE I HELP OUT IN OTHER RIDES FIRST BEFORE MINE,SO ITS TIME TO CASH IN ALL THE FAVORS I HAVE!I ALREADY METIONED A WEEK END BODY DROP TO THEM ONCE I BUY ALL THE MATERIALS,SO WE'LL SEE HOW THAT GOES.

I still do this and always have. I'm not much technical help but I can sure critique and be a great gopher.

im always to tired from work to feel like even working on anything. specially during teh weekends lol. im gona get my shit goin soon. i just hate people being in the way. whats this do hows that work can i do this to my car while u work?

Come to Missouri man Missouri loves company and I have several buddies that are always down to give me a hand and I'm always down to lend one myself. Although James makes a good point I do have a hard time working on things with some of my freinds because they are idiots and can't wire a toggle switch correctly but thats just how it goes man the only two people i trust to work on my shit freinds wise is my dad and one freind of mine who is my right hand man.
