and what happens when you drag it enough and you get to the weld? its STILL possible for that plate to fly off, even if it is 1/4 the thickness it started at. "drag safely guys"? I believe only one person so far has actually said "dont do it on the highway"

Well I know I used to pop my head under the truck on a regular basis. If I was to plate my frame, I think I'd notice when it's getting a little thin. I would trust a good bead over a bolt. That's my opinion. You are entitled to yours. But yes, I agree with the others out there that drag safely. Maybe because I'm a father now and wouldn't want a block or falling object flying through the window and hitting my kid.
