Shaving door handles w/o any welding

only time i use panel bond on the outside, is when i splice a 1/4 panel in, but it still gets welded(1 edge crimped), just not fully and we havnt have a come back on that and ive ben doing it for 3+years... but i would not recommend doing it to shave stuff.

it fixed one of my cheep fiberglass handled body hammers really good tho.lol

weld! you'll get ghost lines... and they definitely make pre-fab plates made to fit so welding it would be really easy

Body shop did mine before I got my welder, 2 weeks later ghost lines showed on all 4 doors. I pulled it apart to see what was goin on and the filler was panel bonded on. I use panel bond alot at work too but I would never use it to shave anything. There may be a way to do it and it come out ok but you wont know if its ok or not til its too late.

I would keep my handles before I would do anything except weld them.
