because you can go to the bank and get a loan for 25-30k on a new stock truck. A 92 isuzu in perfect shape has a loan value of MAYBE 1500, if you can find a bank that will loan you money on something that old. So that leaves you to come up with 28500 of your own money.

I am NOT knocing the truck or the work invested, I am sure it cost a lot and all the time and effort really looks great. Sell it for 30k? maybe, I cant predict the future. But I can say that the people who want it cant afford it, and the people who can afford it wouldnt want it, they'd take a 30k accountant ponytail justification device (chopper, with cruise control!) or a low end tri five or corvette. Again, not knocking, just saying that is the price range its in.

Not everyone has to apply for a loan to buy a ride. And those rich guys that buy Choppers w/ cruise control or their Tri Five or Corvette sometimes have kids they will buy rides for...........hell, some rich guys might be into minitrucks there self.

Maybe the truck wont sell for that amount, but if it was mine....I would rather keep it, rather than sell it for a ridiculously cheap price to then find some broke ass post up on SSM the new truck he bought and see it tore to shit.

I see more rich kids with fast and the furious type cars than minitrucks (unless its an xtreme s10) but I really hope you are right. But the last really nice spacecab for sale was Radar's and I think it took over three years to sell for about a third of this asking price.

I was talking to someone about the difference between minitrucks and hot rods the other day. Even an old build from the 80's hot rod holds its value pretty well if the work is nice. Also, when you buy an old hot rod everyone comes over to your garage and checks it out, you travel all over the country to shows and people just check it out.

But with a minitruck, you buy someone elses work and you either have to change it right away or make a big sign saying "THIS IS XXXX'S OLD TRUCK, I DIDNT BUILD IT" or guys at every show will look it over and bitch and moan about built not bought.

I am rambling and just taking up space now. Good luck with the sale.

This truck def. raised the bar quite a bit in top notch, well built, quality trucks.

Thanks Keef.....I just built my truck they way I wanted to. It was a dream of mine to build something that modified but next ride will be very simple and clean.

Update.....I'm convinced that the truck will probably never sell. Oh well I guess I'll keep it, who knows it might look different at some point.

Good luck whichever way you decide to turn. Wish I had the money cause it is very clean and way less cost then what I have in my truck.
