you should quit.

life's too short to waste it doing things that aren't fun.

pick it back up again when you're ready.

some people aren't cut out mentally for a build project longer than a set of lego's. That's life.

not really, because then you sell it, and you lose 70% of your $.

It's better to put your money into a Roth IRA. Or build something old. really old.

I think anyone with a hobby of any kind has not felt this way at some point or another. I go through it all the time and end up selling shit and regretting it later. The only car I've kept over the years is my Monte. Next month will be 14 years that I've had it. It was the first car that I bought on my own. I'll have it until I die. It's seen a lot of time tuck away from the public eye and I bring out every few years. I'm actually getting ready to start some work on it and hopefully put her out in the sun soon. Anyway man, you just gotta get out there and find the motivation bro. Catch a show, buy a dvd, hit up some old friends or make some new ones. Whatever it takes!

when your "friends" turn on you and just talk shit....it does make it very tempting to give up. Whats the point of finishing a bad ass truck just to sit by yourself.

its all about the experience it took to finish it, the shows u go to, the friends u have, the friends u make, all the good times, if your friends turn on you, then that sux ass, and does make it kind of pointless, and jey, i can agree with u on a certain level, im done building full blown minitrucks for sure because of the fact that u dont get yur $ out of it..but, i will never regret doing what i did no matter what i sell my truck for, its the best feeling ever seeing your project of 6 years finished, after u built it all by yourself , the sense of accomplishment is amazing...

I some what agree with this Jey on this, if its not fun anymore why mess with it? But like Kyle mentioned, what about all the friends and experiences you'd miss without it? I know i've meet a ton of people and life long friends all over the nation by going to shows and building vehicles and i'd never change it. Hell i'd have never met Kyle or any of the ND guys if it weren't for this stuff. Now I can't wait every year to get to go to shows and see the friends that I rarely get to see any other time of the year. Everyone needs a pick me up now and then, keep you head up, clear your mind, and see if your heart is truely into it still.

Anyone can give up it takes a real man to finish a truck that isnt sponsered

I feel like giving up everyday but I know that once it's finished it will be worth. If not I did gain a lot along the way. I just wish it wasn't taking so long, but there isn't much I can do to speed it up. Hang in there!
