seems like you checked lots of things. sounds like after your indash was installed you had problems. that there tells me they might have messed up something installing the dvd player.

I know, but what could it be. There is like a hundred wires behind the deck.

How did they ground the head unit?

there is a ground that hooks up to the floor of my cab.It is the same spot where my amps are grounded. It runs up to the back of the deck and is hooked in whith another black wire and a yellow wire that run into this little box and then comes out the other side. The yellow wire has a tag on it that says battery.

Try splitting up the grounds. When i used to compete, I had to ground everything at separate places to avoid whining. It didnt make any sense to me, but I tried it, and it worked! I even went as far as to take the 2ga ground that I was using off the amps and split them into smaller multiple grounds.

If nothing else works, you may have a problem with the output on the radio...

I moved the grounds away from each other and that didn't work

Damn really. Thats weird. Did you hook up the deck ground to the main vehicle stereo harness?

I'm not the one who hooked the deck up.Circuit city is.The ground goes from the floor of the cab and runs up to the deck where they spliced it in with a black wire that runs with a yellow wire into a little box and then comes out and goes to the back of deck. The yellow wire says battery on it.
