i have seen and heard about many cover trucks
and it seems like all you need to do is
strap on a set of rims and a paint job and
you can get your truck in the mags,
witch i think is bs and shouldn't be like that
but then again people don't want to buy a truck mag
and see some pos truck in their

i daily drive my truck in alaska thur the winters,
i build trucks to drive not be towed

peace

there is a guy in town who recently acquired another very recent cover truck (I won't mention it specifically to keep from getting hit with the flame brigade of the builder/friends ect) to find out the truck doesnt even start unless its jumped off, the bags leak like crazy, the tv's and gauges arent even hooked up, they are just there for looks, the door popper work when they want, and various other things you wouldnt expect to be wrong with a truck that looks as nice as it does. worst part is, the owner was asking $10,000 for it! upon finding all the problems the new owner is now selling the truck because of the mess it really is. just goes to show, the scene isnt about the trucks anymore, its all about who you know and what clubname is on your window

true story - and the guy who owns it is an ass

fyi - thats me

I'll be more than happy to get the truck you guys speak of off your hands.

For 12000 that truck can sit and rot in that yard. i mean yea it was a badass truck but thats in past tense, to ask for 12000 in the condition its in is crazy someone ask the owner what is he smoking causei  want that shit lol. it must be damn good.....

damn. i really dont know what else to say. someone please fix this truck. in all seriousness it would cost as most $5000 to have this truck  back in good shape. fix the bed, window, interior thats messed up, firewall, fix the bag placement and put the wheels back on it and just paint it one solid color and cover this baby again.

Yep, and its sad to but oh well. I'm guessing its been there now about 3 years. So I doubt anything will ever be done with it.
