Former cover truck found in junk yard

^^^ agree.. it may be a pos to some but it was an inspiration to me. So are you saying that since my truck is a pos right now, i should throw that in a junk yard too or should i continue building it to maybe one day grace the cover of truckin?? I understand that it was built in memory of his girlfriend but if my wife were to junk my truck after i died, i'd come back to life and beat the shit out of her.

John, do you actually work at the junk yard or you just drive by there everyday?

i live across the street from the yard, and i go over there all the time, and i prolly shouldnt have said pos, but what i meant is the suspension is not set up properly and other then goin on/off trailer its not driveable imo , the bed is ruined, might could be fixed? it looks good and i love the truck no doubt it might be worth saving if the price was right.........

oh yea the only reason its even at the junk yard is because thats his exwife's parents place and thats where it was pretty much built and thats where he had to work on it, also its the safest place to store it where noone would vandalize it, because last show truck he had sitten at his house got burned to the ground, the truck pretty much broke the same time he got divorced and he kinda abandoned it, they told him to come get it and that was 2 years ago? then he come pulled the wheels off this year and let it sit ?

I am surprised to see that he who put in so much effort to finish it for his late girlfriend...would just toss it away...it sucks to see a truck thrown away regardless...but one with such an interesting history? thats almost criminal

ok, so i just got off the phone with em and they told me what has basically been said. The guy that owned the truck took the wheels off and set it there where you see it. It has been sitting there for 2 years. THey said his intention was to sell it since it got into Truckin but he never did. So basically if you want to buy it, you have to talk to owner and not the salvage yard because they are just storing it.

I probably shouldn't give out the salvage yards information which probably wouldn't be of any use anyway but as for the owners number, no, i don't know it

i just talked to his wife or girlfriend, and she said they plan on fixing it again, just dont have the time because they just had a kid. she also said its for sell, im tryin to get ahold of justin and find out a price or even if he wanna sell it. i dont know if he wants his number posted up but i will give his email address when i get it

He is out trying to get his own truck built. I appreciate people thinking about me when the talk turns to fixing trucks. Maybe try once my own truck is done. I want to show that I can build a truck dang it (and hope be done before Lance's Dakota :LOL Hope someone can score it and get her up and looking pretty. Good luck guys and gals.
