It seems 2/3s of the features were always shot by Johnny O, was sad when the original crew left am sad now, a magazine with such potential, what a waste.

Johnny it truly saddens me that you are now no longer a part of the street trucks crew. Ive bought street trucks magazine every month since first article hit my 7 elevan magazine rack. I have watched it progress to what it is today. BY far your articles and photographs were some of the best ive ever read and your column every month always left me with a smile on my face. I hope everything works out for you and you continue to strive the way you have for so many years. Goodluck buddy, see you in tennessee (hopefully)

Pretty sad deal if you ask me! Johnny O is a cool ass cat, honest almost to a fault, a helluva photographer, and I always got a kick out of his stories! I was real leary about Streettrucks when they got rid of Steve, Brian, and Courtney, but I kept my subscription. Now, I don't have much confindence in the the magazines survival. Trust me, this has nothing to do with Mulligan either, I like that guy. I just think since Jeremy, and now Johnny O have left the magazine it is going to lose alot of its character. I've known Travis for quite sometime and he has always shot me pretty damn straight and never screwed me, so I can't say anything bad about him either, but i do get a vibe that upper management is really running the magazine opposed to how it use to be when the editorial team called the shots on cover, features, and design layouts. Its really kinda sad, I really looked forward to recieving Streettrucks every month and now its just like any other magazine that gets tossed by the wayside. I wish you luck Johnny O, i'm gonna miss seeing you at shows and reading your funny stories.

sucks. he had sweet shit to say and took great pics. a side note, was he at ITB '07? is he the guy that hits people in the jaw if they tell him to? i was drunk and i think i remember telling him to hit me? hahahahhah if that's not him, nevermind. lol oh well, he was a cool dude if that was him chillin with us in front of the red roof drinking and doin dumb shit with low life and minitruckin. mike alexander might chime in saying i was teebagged by everyone when i passed out. let's not make a repeat of that. lol

anyways, hope you go on to bigger and better things man!

I loved reading Johnny's editorial in each issue of Street Trucks. I had the priveleage to meet Johnny at Slamfest in Tampa years ago. Ever since then he has been a good friend and a blast to hang out with at shows. I'm sure with your talent that you will get another chance with one of the magazines in our scene. Good luck and keep your head up.

Yup...just got that nasty feeling in my gut over this one. I've always had tons of respect for you and it made it worth it to me to pick up an ST to see what art you had created this month. I know you've been told this before but it was like meeting an idol when I finally ran into you at Layd Out the other year. I compare it to the first time I went to Showfest and introduced myself to Courtney who in turn introduced me to everyone I had only heard about. It really saddens me that there are such politics involved in the industry. Best of luck Johnny. I hope to see you around sometime in the future...
