I QUIT DRINKING... who's with me?

First off, please don't turn this thread negative!

This isn't a bet, or anything like that... but I won't to prove to myself that I can have just as much fun at a show WITHOUT drinking! So, from today forward I officially quit drinking (at shows, BESIDES SEMA LOL)... so I'll let you guys know how it goes

I know it will be tough, but if I CAN ENJOY A SHOW WITHOUT ALCOHOL THEN ANYONE CAN!!!!!

after two DUIs i pretty much quit drinking too. Its possible to have fun with out the liquor but things seem weird at first when everyone is trashed and your sober. The biggest thing is man if that is what you really want then stick to it and dont give into peer pressure.. Thats the biggest feat of them all.... I used to be quick to turn up a beer can when i was with all my friends.. Good luck man!! LET ME CLEARIFY SOMETHING... I STILL DRINK just not when i have to drive and not very often

Congrats and good luck bro. I quit drinking about 2 years ago, just decided it was fun, had its time,but was time to grow up. Plus 4 kids later its not a good influence. Hang in there bro!

i feel ya mike! cant tell you how many shows i dont even remember! friends would ask "did you see that truck?" and the only answer was "uggghhh?" im with ya! i will not be bringin the camelback to scr8pfest this year! its gona be hard but if everyone tries it will only help our sport grow!

It is possible to not drink and have fun. I'm not much of a drinker and I have a blast. I do get a kick out of watching some of the drunk people. Best of luck to you.

im 34 and i have only been drunk twice! i hate the smell much less the after-effects!

trust me - its much more fun on the sober side 'cause you get to really see and remember what happens...

you'll be amazed at your reaction to the "drunk people" doing dumb shit.

Mike i quit drinking hard and partying hard a month or so ago, and to be honest i feel great. I wake up with a clear mind everyday and i dont have to find new remedies to cure my hangover. I went from partying 2 to 3 nights a week and spending $300 to $400 a week on booze to now maybe partying only once a month and only spending about $150 in that night. Its different i guess for me because i dont get to go to as many shows as you but those are my wildcards that im allowing myself to party and drink what i want when i want.

If you ask me, great idea to quit drinking and i hope it works out for you like its worked out for me. See you in tennessee in 18 days, if your goin that is... Ill be drunk, you won't... lol
