luckly I pumped the brakes real quick and stoped just before hitting the dude.......now, I always double pump the brakes just in case

At least its an excuse to pull the bed and finish it. I'm getting the interior done too, so I wasn't going to be driving it much this month anyways.

When my Pro Comp brake line broke, I really didn't think anything of it until now.Mine broke the same way and I almost rear-ended someone. I just did a google search on Pro Comp brake line failure and many people had these brake line failure. Pro Comp does have an life time warranty and will replace it for free. But I don't know if I would trust these brake lines. I got a local place that makes mine customs line now.

thats why ya need a shop truck that can jump curbs ..and can make sharper u turns

I didn't think much of it either until today. A friend of mine said Pro Comp lines are notorious for this. I won't run them any more. I am going to replace my rear line tomorrow as well.

I recently found a great brake shop that makes me lines. Had them done on the 720. I'll have to get some for my truck if I want stainless again.

thats sucks... it could be worse.. like my bedsides. lol

I bent the bedside braces back to semi straight with a BFH and it straightened itself out pretty good. Its still a little worked where it creased, and the low spot behind it, but at least it doesn't look crushed when driving it now. I'll leave the rest up to Pete to fix.

It was the old box body style .....I thought it was ///Ra James but this truck was baby blue primer.....I'll bet I scared the shit out of him (whoever it was)

I don't think so, I hit it hard. The one in the front is 3/4" tube. It didn't bend, it just bend the bottom of the bed where it was attached. The one in the back is 3/16" flat stock, and I was able to bend it back with a BFH.
