a slow disharge would be ideal, would it not? ive never heard or read that you do not want deep cycles. hell, i've seen comp cars and many daily's rockin optimas.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but I disagree with Pat's advice, and the other guy that gave you the list of parts to get.

Shoot me an email: noslammingdoors@hotmail.com and I'll get you on the right track rather than going back and forth on here...

Listen to Derek.

His knowledge with hydraulics is amazing.

As for the juice haters..

I daily drive my car 70+ miles a day without any issues, actually I've driven the last three cars the same distance without any problems.

Nothing wrong with deep cycles.. I know that the deep cycle batteries have been in my car for quite a few years. Aaron can prob give you an exact count. I definately would go with what Derek recommends.

Deep cycles will do just fine. If a slow dicharge is ok with you then rock them out. And no reputable competitor runs deep cycles if they have the option too choose what battery to run. If you want to put in new batts every year run deep cycles. If your going for the clean look run Optima.

But if you want performance run the biggest CCA Group31 you can find. The best battery I ever used was made by Douglas Batteries. It was the only battery I ever tested that put out over 1700CCA's!
