Joe one thing I would suggest is to sell other mainstream brands that we as builders and the part users KNOW will work. It doesn't hurt business to sell proven equipment... Like VIAIR, Air Zenith, Slambags, SMC or Parker Valves, etc (i know there are more, I'm not being biased). We're not always interested in the easiest solution (like a valve manifold, or a super-duper easy plug n play air system which may be really hard to service), just the most reliable. If you can provide such products AND keep your competitive prices, you'll be in great business. I suggest taking care of your back end with the customer service issues and you'll be fine. Keep your unique product available as well, but we trust certain names with our purchases because of our respect for their 1. Knowledge 2. Customer service skills 3. great products and product support. Most may know who I'm referring to but I've never had an issue with them.
I had an issue a while back with AIM, I just tried to post it a while ago but it looks like it didn't post. Bottom line I tried to buy one of your cheaper half wrap steering wheels I saw in the most recent MT magazine at the time, called and they were out of production.... The lady was real short with me and basically said they had been discontinued for a while. Please keep your staff up to date or your ads, I think you still run that 70-90$ steering wheel.

All that aside, great job trying to iron this out, you've gained some respect from me.

Michael,We appreciate local business and it actually is a little harder to deal with because we are a mailorder company. When we ship mailorder, it just has to be on the truck by 5:00PM, so we have all day to pull it together. When you go into willcall, the sales staff is most always buried in the phones. Lets do this in the future: Call directly to Heather and confirm that the product is in stock and ready to go. Heather will babysit the item and advise you if it is in the box and ready for pickup. I am sure you did call in advance, but we receive so many calls, then pull the order, and no one shows. The way around this is to call your order in, give the credit card info to Heather and she will update you as to availability and when it will be in the box.Thank you for your posting, Joe Morrow

Mike what spindles and when were you in the will call office. tx Joe

Joe I think you may have missed my issue.

Joe, a few years back I ordered a set of drop spindles for my previous '95 S-10. I rec'd a set of lowering coils for the same year Dakota. I called to get it straightened out and I was told that I would have to pay a restocking fee (which was outrageous). The rep on the other end was very rude and uncaring about a situation that I did not create. I was not rude, angry or sarcastic. I was very calm with the rep. I provoked nothing. In the end I was told I would have to pay shipping back for the item, the restocking fee and shipping to have my already ordered and should have been shipped spindles. In the end I was so dissatisfied with the service I ordered a 2nd set of spindles via Stylin' Concepts (DJM units) and used them, which are on my current '01 Sonoma.

Like I said, any future issues, contact me swiftly and directly by email. Just give me the chance to give you customer assurance. tx Joe Morrow

i know a friend of mine ordered the lambo door hinge kit and it was for a camero the shocks needed replaced in the first 24 hours as they wernt strong enough with 2 shocks per door.

i had problems with the fillers in the past that some were to small had to get ghetto and tack sheetmetal in then weld it all solid to ensure a good taillight filler took me longer to finish the job.

shipping seems a little high. especially when the fillers i ordered as mentioned took 3 weeks to come from mesa arizona to california.

also knock the price down on the lambos again say to 189.99 maybe ill order two sets after the first of the year since i know ill have to replace the shocks too..

also a buddy of mine bought a used lambo kit sell some replacement parts such as the shaft in the hinge and the slider plate on the top and bottom that helps line the hinge up when you close your door.

Joe I have a quick question. Is this actually you respoding to all these questions today?

I will vouch for him. Yes it is him in personYes, I have worn my keyboard out today. I can't get any of my normal work done, but I must admit I needed to get it out there long ago, but I so not think the forum's would allow me to.

Thanks to Kris Bloom, it actually happened. No one wants to go on a forum to see a stack of hate mail and bashing. To me, your community overall has shown me that there are members out there that want it taken to a higher level, and I intend to do that with the HELP of the community.

Thank you,Joe Morrow

Afro,I talked to Joy about the 1/2 wrap. In the magazines, we never had a halfwrap for under $100, but at $299. The steering wheel you were looking for at under $100 was a vinyl, which we no longer have. sorry for the confusion, Joe Morrow

Big E,There are 3 strut options on Lambos. There are actually attachment struts for up to 4 struts (if you can fit 4 in the space) Another option is you should get Electric Actuators because they lift even more weight. See the Ad in Truckin. Doubtful that you will see $189 again because of metalcosts going thru the roof. or go to www.airbagit.com and enter lambo under search.
