Yes thanks Max for the atricle in MT! It needed to be said. Being part of a club that puts on Drop Zone, 3 day show, most people know about, its getting really hard to thow shows like Drop Zone. Because of all the drama and destruction of property that goes on. We rent the fairgrounds and stuff happens. Then we cant have a show there anymore or there is problems renting the location the next year. You all know what its like. This is going on the 2nd year we have not done Drop Zone as a 3 day event. Everybody lets help clean up the scene and bring back some of these old shows.

No disrespect to the mini guys, or MT Magazine, but I DID have a supcription a while ago, along with the 6 other magazines I renew 2 years in advance on, but it just wasnt for me. Hence the reason i asked what topic it was Max did for them (I think the guys awesome!). I did however pick up a mag recently, and it was much better then what I remembered though.

Here's to another post wasted having to explain to the gods of SSM

I'm glad that you all like it. It is something that has been bothering me for a while now and some online drama was the inspiration that I needed to write it.

chris03hd- It looks to me like you were cought up in one of those "misunderstanding." I too have seen a handfull of folks ask to have the article typed out for them and I agree that they should go buy the mag just like I have to. And I write for the mag...

Because I feel that it is something that everyone should read, here it is.

Why are we letting this happen to our scene? I remember the days when river runs were held at a nice place like La Paz Co. park, a really nice park that was right on the river with green grass and smooth asphalt roads. During the day most everything was cool, but as soon as the drinking started it got so bad that I would sit on top of the cabanas and watch the madness ensue. I remember one time the fighting got so out of hand that a riot team was brought in to break it all up. On Sunday mornings the campground would look like a rock concert had moved through the place and destroyed everything. Eventually the powers that be wouldn

yes i read this and i think it was a also said in either sport truck or street trucks. this past season i didnt get to go to as many shows as i wanted due to buying a house and having a baby. now that i have a son it sure makes me think about it that much more, to the point that i think do i want to continue building minis?. i am glad that others feel the same way. i really think videos such as lowlife and domintaion have made people see that and say i want to do stupid shit. but i think guys like eddy doing shows like havoc and blood drag may be hope for the future

hmmmm I wonder where this "hobby" would be without the magazine

well, I guess we'll find out when no shows have any magazines to support them and no one builds nice trucks because there will be no magazines to feature them?

i know this has nothing to due with this topic but if people are only building trucks to get a feature in a mag then they are not in this hobby for the right reason
