9. 21 radio stations in L.A. are Spanish speaking.

10. In L.A.County 5.1 million people speak English. 3.9 million speak Spanish (10.2 million people in L.A.County).

Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops but 29% are on welfare.

I think that whenever one of these simple jobs open up a legal citizen on unemployment or welfare should be made to fill the position... an employment draft if you will. Some people bitch about not having a job or not being able to find one, but im sure uncle sam can find one for them. It will be just one less open position for some goddam fence jumper to come here and take.

can i chime in? first of all im MEXICAN ,and it hurts me alittle bit that my fellow brothers in this little world of ours called truckin ,minitruckin whatever are so hatefull, my parents are illiegals, without them i wouldnt have the life i have today.all they want is to be able to become citizens, but the goverment makes it so hard to do , my parents have been tryin to become citizens since the 70s and it just happened 4 years ago for my dad , he doesnt do anything but work and sleep , might i add for alitle more than minimum wages. and another thing its not just mexicans , theres tons of other illiegals of other nationalitiesin this country as well, if we put as much effort into getting all the other races off of welfare, the ones that are covered in gold and drivin caddies, and its not just the blacks either, we'd be doin something to help out with the economy, the way i see it the imigrants are doig us a favor by workin the fields doin the shit work that even i wont get out there and do , and i know some of you wont either , and for the moronic little comments about wetback beaners and talkin about killin us and throwin us back over the fence, i would like you to find me at the next show or event , because i do speak english very well , and please tell me your feelings to my face ......thanx eric AcrophobiA FL

im sorry to say this but americans will be the minority in the near future, and by that i mean i will be as well because i am american i was born here i live here i pay taxes as well ... but the haitians, cubans every other imigrant are to blame as well , the bust all kinds of illigal smuggling rings all the time from the chinese as well as others , the problen lies here in the us , insted of stickin our nose in other countries businesses , we need to focus on our on problems,

This is Eric's wife. I am American....you know as white as they come...I can see the different perspectives of this situation because I am white but I am also married into a Mexican family. I agree with the fact that if Mexicans would like to come over to this country then they should do it legally. They should get the papers, pay taxes, and learn to speak English. Which if you listen to what they are saying they are willing to do this. I just don't think you realize how difficult it is to become an American citizen. I listen to white people calling in on the radio who make comments such as the one's you have made and they sound just as ingnorant and uniformed as the comments you have stated. If those Mexicans weren't out there picking oranges for minimum wage and the vendors had to pay their employees more that would drive the cost of the product up for the American citizens.as before I hear Americans who are sooo strongly opinionated like they own this place. Some where down the line hun......one of your family members immigrated to this country as well and back then it wasn't that hard to become legal. You just need to thank the good Lord that you were fortunate enough to have been born here and have the luxoury of being an American citizen. Like I said before I have my complaints as well....ya know I can't afford insurance but alot of the hispanic people are getting free health care....thats not right...BUT that problem lies within every race that makes up America. Im about sick and tired of hearing this "your ancestors were immigrants too" crap. I know that, but i didnt, my parents didnt, and neither did my grandparents so that lil arguement is out the window.
As for the "immigrants doing jobs whites wont do" statement, i know of quite a few ones that WILL.
And i know that mexicans arent the only race giving us hell, but they are the only one organising a day of protesting...

And yes whites will be the minority soon, but do you think the rights minorities have now will be stripped and given to us?
