yeah I'm used to spending $900+ for coilovers and struts for hondas so ~$260 isn't shit for spindles

---------------------------------------------Originally posted by jimmy726Ohhhhhh yeah dude defiantly if you have the money make sure you get spindles. Because you will one day want bags and they are needed to bag it. But make sure you do it all at  once get the spindles and then turn the torsions down the same day. Then after your done doing the work go strait to an alighnment shop. And for spindles go with Belltechs and i know im going to catch shit for this but never ever by from Aim---------------------------------------------

Belltech doesn't make spindles for Mazdas.  AIM/Chassis Tech are the only ones who do.  So if he wants spindles he's going to have to order from them.  Also you don't need drop spindles when you bag a Mazda.

well this man knows more about mazdas then me so probably listen to him. But spindles are about the only thing i would buy from Aim.

I haven't found the truck yet. I'm still searching for either a b-series or hardbody in really good condition to start with which isn't going soo well at the moment  also while doing some searching for mazda parts, it would come up with ford ranger parts instead. are the 2 interchangeable?

that would be for 94+ year mazdas, they were interchangeable with the ranger...however the 86-93 style is on its own.

okay first...turn down your torsion bars...get drop shocks for the front....then flip your balljoints....take out all the leafs and cut about four inches off each end of the load bearing spring...it will give you a good ride with 3 inch blocks....if you can i would baby notch the frame...unless you are going to bag it then step notch or bridge it. it will pay off in the end to do it now.

I know you could get the truck low with very little money but does anyone know anything about these kits from djm?? http://www.djmsuspension.com/applications/mazda%20nissan%20kit%20apps/86MazdaParts.htm http://www.djmsuspension.com/applications/mazda%20nissan%20kit%20apps/NissanParts.htm

i know that 275 is ALOT for lower control arms and the block kits you can buy anywhere for 20-30 bucks. keep it simple man it doesnt have to be expensive. and remember you dont have to sacrifice ride quality to be low. just take your time. and if you are considering buying a mazda or nissan and dont know which one to buy yet....keep this in mind. a mazda frame is boxed from the factory and a nissan isnt. not trying to steer you in any direction but it helps to know.

And to what he said mazda motors are shit and nissan motors run forever. I bought my nissan with 330000 miles on it still running strong. But then again i had 3 motors in 1 mazda and they all messed up in one way or the other

to be honest I like the look of the nissans more but there are alot more mazdas in my area. it will just come down to whichever one I find in better condition for the right price
