yeah mazda motors arent shit...you are just an idiot because you dont know how to take care of one. good job however on making this a contest between nissan and mazda. i dont really care what he picks. just trying to help a newbie out and you had to go and eff that up toolboxJIMMY. later betch

hahahaha i love shit bags like this if you look above i said i like both truck. I was stating what the problems were with the mazdas. Im sorry i hurt your feelings but im trying to make sure the mans knows the problems with mazdas before he bought one. Hell if it makes you feel better the problem with nissans is they like to rust out. Make sure you look at the frames and the floor pans there now i have stated whats wrong with both. So now go out and pick which ever truck you feel is right for you homie. I personally like both they have great looking features. And they bought have the same suspension and can get static dropped the same way.

simmer down ladies jimmy, I did notice alot of the nissan's i saw had rusted frames which sucks.if I actually get what I'm looking to get for my car, I may take a trip down south to florida to get one if I can find one down there and again, I don't mind spending money as long as its a good product and will actually help me obtain what I'm looking for. so a 3" lower control arm + 2" drop spindle = 5" down in front, and thats with the torsion bars untouched. which I'm guessing will leave me with great ride quality

kind of but not really dude the ride quality does really change because you turn you t bars down. It gets shitty because you start bottoming out. and 5" in the front your going to be bottoming out the bumpstops or the shocks. But im pretty sure you wont need the drop LCA if you plan on bagging your truck, so i would save the money and just t bar it down and spindles.

nope I have no plans to go with bags. so my best bet would be just spindles, shorter shocks, take leafs out, and 3-4" blocks for the rear?

yep that sounds like a good plan bro except you missed turning down t bars a little, and maybe some smaller bumpstops

i had my daily driver slammed for a long time. the ride quality (in my opinion) was way better than stock because there was NO body roll whatsoever. my setup consisted of [front] drop shocks, flipped ball joints and torsion bars turned way down [rear] step notched 3inch block and 4 inches cut off each end of my load bearing spring i had a comfy ride, wasnt bouncy like most static dropped trucks i have had in the past. and remember that flipping the ball joints gives you about 2inches and costs you nothing but labor.

yeah I forgot about the notch, flipping the ball joints, and torsion bars and what do you mean by cutting 4 inches off the load bearing spring? I know a far amount about hondas/acuras/nissans/etc, just totally new to the truck thing your myspace is private so i cant see the pictures

---------------------------------------------Originally posted by jimmy726And to what he said mazda motors are shit and nissan motors run forever. I bought my nissan with 330000 miles on it still running strong. But then again i had 3 motors in 1 mazda and they all messed up in one way or the other---------------------------------------------As long as u do proper maintenance anything will last a longtime. i have an 86 B2000 with 393k on the odometer and the speedo and odometer havent worked in over a year( needs a cable but im a mechanic for a living and dont feel like doing it after i punch out lol) so im estimating mine near 420k and it runs GREAT.mine sits EXACTLY like that burgandy one i have 2 pulled leafs w/ 4" block and c-notch and the front i indexed the bars 3 splines and cranked them a lil. i had to cut off the bumpstop mount i need new shocks up front cuz they are bottomed out ill post pics later. i have some in my profile before i did the splines and just cranked a lil if u wanna check it out.
