My 40 Month Nightmare that I endured at Hill's Hot Rod's.

A lot of people have asked me over the years what has happened to my Dodge Ram and who is building it. Well I was wanting to keep it on the down low, but after the last 40 months of getting the run around and getting my property damaged at the hands of Jason Hill the owner of Hill's Hot Rod's in Lubbock, Texas, I need to share my story about what all happened.
 
If I was the only one that this has happened too I wouldn't make it public, however the treatment, and the attitude that I got from Jason Hill the day I left needs to be exposed so you can see just what happens in this "one stop shop" known as Hill's Hot Rod's from Lubbock, Texas.
 
It's a very long story but if you will read the "Road Trip" section, you will see why I am making this public. I will be worth reading! Thank You!!!!!Please take the time to read this!!!

this is my last post of this month  and im going to use it here,  i read the whole story from beginning to end. after reading all i have to say is fuck that guy i dont care if thier is 3 sides to every story that guy sounds like a stuck up cocksucker that needs to get his prioitys straight,   i can see being put on a waiting list but after you supposed to be next to get some work done i would excpect at lest something done even putting 1 hour aday on you truck the shit might have been half way done and the guy couldnt even do that after you paid him.  i just hope the next shop has a little class and you finally get your dream truck good luck man

Just another reason to do it yourself.  Even if you dont have the time or skill, its probably going to be much more fun and less of a headache to learn to do it yourself.

Imagine some of the parts/vehicles and tools people could own with the money they have lost to shops.

All I can say is, I hope you get YOUR dream truck and YOUR patent rolling...I can tell it was an emotional write up and much heart felt...Best of luck to you and I hope you make SEMA 2010...Please keep us updated on your build and the progress being completed, that's if you allow us to see it.  You deserve the best darn truck....Best of luck...

Good luck on the build Jance.  I hope it works out.  Sadly though a SEMA booth will probably cost you  more than your trucks build.

After reading your entire story top to bottom I feel that me waiting to get the ball rolling on my truck is petty compared to what you have gone through.  Its guys like that, that make you wanna hang up your hat and say fuck it.  I've always believed that I would some day build a full blown custom truck and if takes me years to do it then so be it.  From reading your story it only makes me want to get mine done even more.  You can tell by the passion in your story that you are a true enthusiast and you deserve the best any honest shop has to offer.  Good luck on your project, and when I get mine done I'll have to roll up to Elk City and have a beer with ya.  Thanks for the inspiration.

holy crap.if i remember rite jason hill had atleast 2 of his personal vehicles in magazine features in the last couple months .total bullshit what happend to you bro.youre a better man than me it would have ended up film at 11 headlines

Wow. Just read the whole story, and it killed me to read it. I can't imagine going through all that shit for 3 years. Hopefully the new shop will come through and make it happen. Good luck bro.

I rarely speak up on here, but I agree with Jeff above me. Had what happened to you been done to me, I would have been a breaking news story I wish you the best of luck in your future build and keep us all updated. I hope this prick looses his shop for whats hes doing!
