I would personally like to appologize to Eddy for an misunderstandings created from a staff member of Layd Out at the Park on the web. Nothing should have ever been mentioned between the our two shows. I personally have been to Blooddrag and was very impressed with the way things are run. As for rules go...they are there for everyones protection. I have a list myself at Layd Out and those who dont follow them pay the consequences. I personally had 6 last year arrested for stupid activities they were performing even after many requests to stop. Its very difficult to put these shows together and I know what its like to have people start talking stuff. So remember that next time you say anything negative about a show. Someone has spent a lot of time and money to do this for YOU to enjoy.

Again, Eddy I am very sorry for this mishap. I assure you it will not happen again from this end..

Jeremy, Thanks man, I'll see you at Lay'd Out....... This is from Mini Truckin Hot seat from Aug 2008, it kinda explains how i feel about this, and 2 years later my feelings are the same...........   Q.  What is your personal opinion on the current state of the scene with us losing so many shows lately?  Why do you think that is?  Can it be repaired?? Any suggestions how? A. I just had this talk with TC from Slamfest this after noon as I was driving thru Memphis heading back from Havoc KY. It’s fucking sad in the mid to late 90’s we’d be up at 5am and getting in line at Slamfest to get registered, now this next generation is just getting in from drinking at 5am. We were proud to show our trucks, now it’s cool to drink and destroy property. Then run on chat rooms and bitch because shows are gone. You ask what’s the reason shows are disappearing, look in the mirror guys, are you part of the problem or the solution. Repaired, I don’t know; make shows 21 and over, no primer? I really don’t know, but it’s the younger guys doing this. But the more party’in and destroying property, the less shows are aloud back, it’s a sad cycle, look at the big picture...    Q.  You seem to have run a lot of very successful car shows.  What kind of quick advice can you offer to someone wanting to try it out for themselves?  A. It’s for the love of the sport, cause there’s no money or sleep and it’s a lot of headaches lol…….   Q.  Why do you think we are losing so many car shows these days??  Do you think it is something as simple as the economy or something much deeper?  Can we turn it around??  A. How can we as a family/community do that? I answered this above.. economy of course, but people at the for front should lead by example, everyone should look in the mirror, are you part of the problem or solution?

I was 19 when I seen this and it kinda shocked, even being 21 now. I agree the "younger" crowd is part of the problem. But not the ENTIRE problem like it seems your pointing at.  I say this with the up most respect though, your doing some crazy shit to keep this scene going. With the amount of shows you promote and push it's unreal. I try to plan a year round meet with hoping that 30+ people show up and that's stressful enough.   Edit: As Master P once said, "I'm trying to be apart of the solution, not the problem" It's sad to say but shows need security, people will know they can only bullshit so far without getting into trouble. Without having it it's freegame for them. Any show I attend, I try to make sure my local crew holds there own and keeps it respectful. That especially goes for the fucktards who thinks it's cool to drink and drive or drink and drag etc...Regardless if if everyone thinks that person will be "straight".

Last year we doubled how many members did security simply for the fact that we switched from a parking lot show to river run and we had only a couple very minor issues.  I think those issues would have escalated without people knowing that security was all over. The trick however is for those doing security to be level headed people, and sober while working.

I know for a fact it's not always the new generation of mini truckers I personally have seen a ton of older and when I say older I mean 30 and so on as I am only 20. But I have seen plenty of older people starting fights arguments and destroying stuff at different shows and runs. So that comment offends me. I mean there certain individuals out there that do drink and destroy things they HAPPEN to be young but I am willing to bet any amount of money that everyone did something stupid when they were young. I can't even count how many times I've partied with other clubs and them being older they got up later then our club and showed up to the show later. So that comment isn't accurate. I am saying this with all the respect in the world because I know what you do for our scene and how hard you work at it. Now with the security that's always a great idea cause there's always gonna be a problem when you get that many people in one place young or not.
