I have been using AutoCAD since Release 12 also. I have been playing with the idea of trying to design a frame and render it in Accurender--------------------------------------------- WOW you use Accurender?  How about them rendering times.  LOL I used to use accurender then switched to 3D Studio Max. If you don't mind me asking what is it that you do to use Accurender?  I use ACAD 2008, 3D Studio Max 9, and Photoshop CS2 daily.  I have not built a frame or anything like that, but I did use it to make a plan to triangulate my lower arms.  Was going to order pre-bent tube since I am bender less.   Here is a sample of what I do.

We also use 3D studio max when we are going to an animation. I can do a 24x36 300 dpi rendering in Accurender in about 2 hours (I am running a 64-bit Quad-Core, w/ 8Gig of Ram) I also use Photoshop CS2 everyday also Here are some schematic renderings we did (first two in Accurender and the third one was in 3D Studio max becasue we did a animation of it)

Wow man kool stuff.  Those trees in AR always look so much better.  Just in case you are interested I have a raw 3d model of a toyota p-up.  I used one that I got off of the net and played with it.  I have been known to throw it in the background of a few proposals.  No one has caught on yet...LOL
