I think it just boils down to do u think he will be a positive customer after u do that or no?? That's how ya have to look at it..

It's up to the customer to make sure they file the correct information. If they did not then sorry. You mailed to the address that was verified so he should take it up with the post office for his error not you.

When you pay via paypal it shows the shipping address on your confirmation. So he should have done his part to keep his information up to date. The messed up part is. Who knows maybe he did indeed get them and is trying for a bonus set. The days of believing everyone on their base is long gone. He should go to his old address and get them.

i've had a problem with paypal because of the confirmed addy deal. i live in a rural town with no mail service only p.o. box. since my visa is thru my p.o. box i have to have that addy for paypal. but if they ship ups/fedex it gets denied at the post office.

i've forgot to tell the seller the physical addy before, and there's been times where they just don't read the message to seller and send it to the wrong addy.

if it's my fault i always pay to re-ship it, if it's theirs they've always taken care of it without me asking.

sounds like this guy just needed to update his paypal info which takes a couple minutes lol. if he's unwilling to cooperate then i'd say let it be a lesson to him.

Just to play devil's advocate, did he really enter a different address on your site, like he said he did? I know we get orders all the time that come in with a shipping address of a body shop, then we get their paypal payment with their confirmed address, so we have to do a lot of double checking. Either way, it's like you say, and you don't win. If he starts talking bad about you, then you have to waist more time defending yourself. So, it might be worth it just to make it go away.

Double edge sword sadly, he has probably already talked shit about you and the shop, sadly to fix it on your end means supplies and timed burned up to ship out parts for free...

sucks either way but i believe i would leave him without if he continues to blame you. if and when you sent him a free set of arms he will not say how nice it was of you to fix the problem he will say it is about time you fixed your mistake...

Well, last night when i went to bed, i had decided that I would just box the set of arms up and send them to him, just to avoid any more hassle with him. When i woke up in the morning and read his latest email, i changed my mind.

I have gone far beyond my responsibility to help him, i tried and even went out of my way to see if the post office could do anything, and all ive gotten as a responce from him is how terrible my service is, and how can i screw up an easy thing like this.

Im done, my time is better spent on other things.

I've had this happen before...order something and after 2 weeks didnt get it. Called the place and they have me a tracking number...it had been delivered 12 days ago to my old address. Drove down the street and there it was sitting at the front door of my old house...knocked on the door...guys said he was wondering when I was gonna come get that...done deal. Lol. I don't see why this can't be handled the same way. Sounds fishy to me...I'd tell the guy to fuck off.

idk, apparently he expects me to drive down from michigan to find the box, then deliver it to him again. Or hire someone to come down and do this. I am not kidding, this is what he is asking.

Taylor I wish all other companies put the effort and due diligence when there was an issue that you didn't create. We are all grown men and are responsible for our own actions and mistakes. To me you went above and beyond to help this guy out. I know that I have ordered tons of stuff and when I screwed up on measurements you stepped up and helped me out. I would say don't worry about it since you have everything in writting that everything was done correctly on your end.

yeah but if you send him the arms then he goes to his old address and gets thos arms also ...i would try and contact the person at his old address and see if they would send them back to you
