Hey everyone I just thought I would let everyone know how my day went. I recieved a call from the auto transporters that were shipping my truck to me and they said it would not air up but they were only an hour away. So i jump in the family wagon and drive on down to palm springs Ca to see whats wrong. the truck driver had blown all four bags on my truck because he forgot to turn off the engine driven comp. I gave him very specific instructions on how to operate the air ride and they told me it was not beyond theyre capabilities. Now they wont finish shipping the truck the hour to my house unless i agree to pay the rest of the delivery fee upon arrival. Is there anything I can do?? I'll pay if I have to but damn this sucks!!!

So they left the engine running while it was on the trailer? And the edc fills the bags directly? I'm confused.

Why was he trying to air it up an when he was still an hour away? I would say pay it just to see that no more damage is done, then get on the phone with whoever I need to talk to to get my shit fixed!

so the compressor over inflated the bags and they exploded??? so your options are replace the bags while it's still on his truck an hour away or replace the bags while it's still on his truck at your house and pay more? assuming you can't get the truck off cuz it's layin frame or body. sounds shitty, but ya, more details.

and this may sound stupid, but how did he leave the "engine driven" compressor on??? wouldn't the truck need to be running for the compressor to operate??? i'm so confused now. and the guy speaking pirate above just lost me even more. i'm going to bed, fuck green beer......

Ask what insurance the company has and file a claim against the company and or driver and tell them you'll pay but only if they pay for time and damage done be  professional and don't lose your cool   but don't think you going to win the legal lottery!!!!You should get enough to cover the damage that was done to your bags. All companies that haul stuff have some kind of freight insurance for problems that might arise!!!
