I have shipped multiple details and what he was probly doing an hour away is cranking the truck up to move to unload other vehicals.  It will be hard to get money for the bags to be replaced I am assuming by reading this that all the fill valves failed and allowed over inflation or did the jsut over pressure the hell out of the tank and burst the bags when he hit the switches. wehn you are getting someone to ship something you need to be certain that is preety much get in it and  drive the more that they have to do the mroe room for errror.  I know the guy that shipped my tundra back got in and soon as he fired the truck up hit the switches tank hadnt built uip pressure yet and was like i dont know what is wrong with it its he was hitting fill switches dump switches everything.  thought it was like hydrolics and the pressure would instantly be there.

When I had my truck shipped I just left it aired up. It didnt leak air and I didnt want the guy messing with it at all.

i know when i had my engine driven i had it on a pressure switch on it the same my 480s are on so when the tank it full it would shut off ...why would you want your comp to fill the tank till it would blow up ...if its set up this way then it would have happened with anyone driving it...not sure why someone would not have a switch or a pressure switch on the compressor

ok....im the original owner of the truck tony is talking about.. what i beleive has happened- the transport guy called me saying the truck was layd out and he needed to move it mind you this is the 3rd time the truck has been moved on and off trailers since it left my home. now i gave him step by step instructions on how to air the truck up if it leaked and due to temperature change from cold ass kentucky to california everyone knows that temperature will effect air ride from time to time there was no leaks in the air ride. well i beleive he has turned the compressor on and instead of watch the tank guage he watched the gauage for the bags....cause he told me it wasnt filling up....well he prob maxed it out and then shot the air to it which blew the bags mind you these where fairly ne bags about a year ago and its garage kept in the winter and only took it to one show last summer...the damn guy couldnt even drive a 5-speed i had to tell him to take the e-brake off and he tached it out driving it up on the truck. but luckily my wife took a 5 min long video as it was aired up idleing and then loaded on the trailer..as for a pressure switch...i think there overrated im very maticulous about watching stuff  and why put the extra strain on the motor just to fill up the tank if air is not needed at the present time...and mind you it is engine driven not like ull have to set and wait on it to air up lol and i think he just nheld the valves open and kept trying to raise it up and the guy was just a dumbass....im sorry tony i feel for ya trust me it broke my heart too....anything i can do let me know you got my number but i agree with the other guy...get there insurance proveders info and pay the balance on the truck but make sure you get something written on a letter head from that company saying the balance was paid but there was damage to the vehicle and have them sign it...just get the truck away from them as far as possible!

Somethings do not sound right here....1. How much pressure is your edc capable of supplying?  Most bags have a burst pressure of 200 psi+.  I am not familiar with edc's, but are they capable of generating these pressures?2. Are you sure it is the bag that is blown, and not the valves, line, etc.?  3.  If the bags were blown from over pressure, was there any additional damage from the bags blowing? If your certain it was the transport company's negligance that caused the damage, I would refuse payment and contract a driver to pick up the truck (shove some wood in the suspension to get it off the ground and loaded onto the trailer).  Once you get it home you can give it the once over and see if the difference in money is worth persuing further legal action.  I imagine you could hire a local guy with a trailer for abotu $250 for 1 hour away, $300 on new bags, etc. - you would probably come close to breaking even, not including your extra time and effort.
