idk then bro, i had the same setup on my old s10 and the compressor was 30yrs old and never been apart....i got one on the gator now at about 160psi and no problems at all. o and i check the oil like every 3 months. Did you overfill it maybe?

maybe the have it spinning backwards? you really shouldnt be going thru them that fast... perhaps a plugged check valve making it struggle? kinked hose?

run a line from the pcv valve on the valve cover of the engine to the inlet on the compressor, constant oily air.

it sounds like they are running out of oiil and thats burning em up. ive been installing them on various rides for years now and they are always good compressors. i use junkyard york 210's that do not have any "oil mods" done to them. i tell the owners to check the oil weekly or at the worst bi-weekly. whatever they drain from the trap, just re-add that amount. ( 4 oz drained, 4 oz added.) i have never seen a 210 install kit either, did the shop custom make one for youe application? the 209 bracket will work but it also has the potential to brteak, ive replaced alot fo those as well.

make sure the S side is facing up, if its mounted sideways.  i have heard you cant mount the suction side down.

Sounds like a bad check valve.

man ive been running a junkyard 210 on my yota for a year now and no probs just gotta stay on top of the oil. i know ive tried running mine to 200psi and it dont like it so i run about 175 its it does that all day long no probs. i wish somebody would figure out a way to make these not pump oil maybe add a ring to the pistons to keep the blow by down and by the way i run 80w90 gear oil in mine to try and keep it cooler it seems to like it
