I look at the positive side of things. I love what I do. And guess what, minitrucking, is a part of my life, it is the way I live. And if you dont, I'm not goimg to knock you for it. To me this is more than a hobby, What I'm doing in five weeks from now has something to do with trucks, What I'm doing tomorrow has something to do with trucks. Is it sad? not for me, I love my life, my friends and my family, and I wouldnt change a thing. It's not for everybody but if it's my lifestyel, don't knock it. we dont build our cars to look the same so why does everyone dress the same? I had a "minitrucker" party at my house a few weeks ago and out of the 60 people that showed up, I was the only guy not wearing a black shirt.....

over rated shit in my eyes

1. seeing how many useless TV's you can cram into your truck/ car/ van/ or SUV. why don't you put them all in your house. i want one in the bathroom "Everyone wants to watch shit when they shit" a 50"+ tv that flips out of your bed just doesn't tickle me one bit.

2. DRAG THAT SHIT! yes i have been known to do my fair share of dragging, it happens. usually gets out of my system pretty quick after i get something new or build something new. no need to rail your shit for any and every old lady in a prius driving next you you.

3. the fact that Dickies are over rated... i have been wearing them for years. durable and cheap. I'm don't gotta worry about fuckin them up. good luck finding a pair that I own that don't have Slag holes in them, bondo on them, paint somewhere on them or even tattoo ink. i think at least 80% of my Dickies shorts and pants have holes in them from welding. but then again so do my socks.

4. Built not bought. suck it, i love being able to see badass shit years down the road that someone else is enjoying and taking care of. good for them. doesn't bug me one bit if they take home a trophy or bring it in on a trailer. they love what they have, let them have it. I see it as the people who bough a done truck are preserving what we all love in one way or another and them bringing it out to shows is supporting the scene. if this didn't happen i don't think a lot of shows would make it. i have my T.V. dinner because i fell in love with it the first time i saw it, I had a opportunity to get it so i took it. traded away a truck i built/ was still building. Wouldn't take it back for the world, i will build more. just sitting back and watching people faces when they see the truck is worth it alone. i don't care if they know i own it. usually i get out of mine and run.

the only issue i see is if some one bought a T.V. dinner and claimed to have done everything to it. the scene is a small world. that's not something that your going to get away with. at least not for long.

5. Club riff raff. i don't care if your club doesn't like my club. I am here to be around good people, meet new people, and pick up some friends along the way. a club is just a sticker/ painted logo of a small group of people who can gather ever week or 2 and hang out and plan shit together, help each other out when needed, and kick it with. just because your not in my club doesn't mean don't come say hey! you are in a club for the same reason i am more then likely. or if you are not in a club thats cool too, i am in no means better then you because i have a logo.

I don't see any "problems, issues, haters, "death of the scene", etc..." untill I start reading internet forums.... I have yet to see people bicker back and forth about bullshit sitting at a carshow drinking a beer or working in each others garage...
