copying your clubs name

we care, didnt ask you if you did think your missing the point....it was written in the same font and upper/ lower case was same along with the sizes. from a distance or quick glance it looked like our name. you cant see anything wrong with that? kinda reminds me of a certain company from your state... pretty lame if you ask me. did i bitch about copyrights or say we owned it? nope, simply said it was frowned upon. you think slam specialites likes the name of the  "new" bag from your area?  lastly, just because someone enjoys the same crap as me dont mean i gotta go be his pal... are you best buddies with every single person in your town who's into minitrucks? ive helped more young kids starting out around here than i can count so spare me the big brother routine.  plus did i mention anything about there rides being low quality or lackin in anyway?  

yeah,  fuck people bitting off yer club name. especially if they're in the same area, and tried ripping off somebody elses name before they settled on ripping off yers

Back when our club was intact, we were confused with the down 2 earth on the west coast. We were down II earth. Both clubs were started in the early 80's, and back then there was no facebook, twitter or even internet for that matter, so there is no way to really know who came first. Even if you could prove who came first, how would anyone from either side ever have seen anyone from the other side to rip the name off? But in todays age with all the means of obtaining knowledge, and thousands of adjectives in the english language, there is no reason to rip off another clubs name.

i am in a club called simple pleasurez. about 20 mins from us there is a club called sinful pleasures. and there is also a club called pleasures. honestly doesnt bother me. If its something like a club with the same exact name spelled different thats a little lame. also you have to think. most people know the normal clubs. and people will never take a club serious when they steal a name.

really!!!! i think find a diff. name. its not that hard. in my opinion.

So no you did not mention that, did I ever say that you did?   If you didn't bitch about them copying your clubs logo or ideas then what did you bitch about? And if you don't think you own it then why would you even think twice about caring if someone else used it?   I think your missing the point, if some people want to start a club who says the have to be norman rockwell and create their own special font and words that no one else in the world has used before?

I does make perfect sense on why you would get upset. Trust me we are in the same boat about the one company but prolly for different reasons. Different point of views are always good, But I don't believe my comprehension skills are lacking when you implied my point of views were similar to said company that is from my area. im dealing with "FOREVERLOW" back east right now.  started in 2007. while us IV Ever Low has been around since 1993.   pretty blatent rip-off such as the southern TIES mentioned above.     its got us a bit upset also, but as others have stated it sucks, not a whole lot can be done about it, just makes them look dumb.  but at the same time makes me feel someone might be associating those guys with our club, so if one of them destroys grass at a show, and  they see foreverlow, we get the bill, or bad rep..
