its not about getting sponsorships. if you want your car to come out a certain way then get out there and start building and saving your money for the parts and buy it yourself noone gives handouts. im 19 years old and i built my bagged yota have upwards of $5000 or more into it and ive saved up for every part i have on it and havent gotten any help from my parents i even live on my own. if i waited around to get sponsored id still be driving a stock truck. ya parts are expensive but you get what you pay for. you go cheap on parts they either wont last long or are bad quality. especially in this economy as ppl have mentioned companies arent just gonna give you parts based on your word on what your gonna do.

Sometimes the best thing to do is keep your mouth shut work your ass off,do the best you can do and people will appreciate you for it.And as far not having money save up get parts here and there till you have everything.Thats how i have been doing it and a lot of people do it

You have to start somewhere, and I guarantee it won't be on top. Work your way up. Don't hit a grand slam, when there aren't any base runners. Nothing is given to you, you have to take it.

Maybe I'm misinformed, but is there any other way to do it?!?!?!? lol

Gotta work hard man! The trouble I see is people bitching about not having money yet they'll go throw away $50 a week on eating out for lunch and shit. You don't HAVE to eat McDonalds or whatever everyday... you can go to the grocery store, buy a pound of ham, a loaf of bread and be set for the week... I'm not saying, I'm just saying.

Spend smarter and work harder
