OFFICIAL RULES

Build Your Mini Truck For SEMA 2011 Presented by Airizona Artworx and Street Source. The winner will be announced at Bring the Noise 2011. The rules are, simple post pictures of your Mini Truck in its present state on Street Source along with a rendering of your ride. This is not a giveaway to re-paint your show truck, this giveaway is to bring a new Mini Truck project to SEMA and to the show scene.

With this build you will need to give a hand with some of the work and also bring the finished project to SEMA along with other shows. With this giveaway you will need to understand that this is going to take time. If you are expecting your project to be done in seven days like the shows that are on T.V. you may want to pass on this giveaway. The only rules are that you supply your Mini Truck to Airizona Artworx. The Mini Truck must be a project Truck not a show truck that needs a re-paint. You must supply a rendering of what you would like your Mini Truck to look when it

Well here it is, My 95 Yota, Bodywork is all done, I just did the 4runner front, the truck is ready to be blocked and painted, its going to be a single color " Brilliant Silver Firemist" which is a PPG color. with some subtle Red pinstriping. I'm currently working on the interior which will be Dark and light grey Suede and leather with red accents. It is no longer my daily driver and its time to finish it. She is no Trailer queen, I drive it to shows here in Cali and in Az and am willing to go Farther if I "win"

See you at Art of Noize!

Already has a large stereo and is set up to lay on 20's of which I am considering getting one off forged wheels made of my own design....Wall of 15's and I am looking to upgrade that at my expense..I am doing the rendering right now and am fully willing top help with all airbrush work. As it is this paint is ten years old and there are parts in primer as well. I will deifnately be able to bring it to SEMA and any company that needs it can have it.

I have a 91 Isuzu Rodeo that is currently stock floor body dropped on 20's. It features a narrowed supra rear and just came back from the drive line shop having the shortened chromoloy half shafts made. The Supra rear has a custom cantilever bag setup as well. Most of the major fab work is done and needs finish work before I tear it all back apart to finish cleanup of the frame before powder coating. The wiring has been run and the truck does run, now that the axles are in it is even drivable. I have a few mechanical issues I'm working on now regarding the brake system and clutch engagement. Otherwise the truck needs interior work, paint and body work, and well as finishing the air system. Currently everything is in mock up status so I can check alll the mechanicals prior to blowing it all back apart for finish work. I live in Vegas, have my own trailer and tow pig, and have means to get the vehicle to anywhere needed to facilitate photo shoots, shop work, or anything else needed to comply with the rules and conditions of this contest.

I will have a rendering completed asap to comply with the request of this contest.

This is the newest rendering, colors are Dodge Snakeskn Green Pearl and MEtalic Silver:

Here are a few pictures of it now.

What the hell, here it goes. I have been in the scene for several years. Started when I was 17, had a 1991 Toyota truck, had it lowered, finally got the paint done, and had a drunk driver take it away before I could go any further. It was a bad deal, and I was lucky to walk away from it. Always being a fan of toyotas, I wanted another but could never afford to buy one. Finally about 10 years ago, I bought an 02 tacoma that was bagged previously, but I wanted to make it my own. I worked on it quite a bit, learned alot of lessons, had to redo some of the previous work, and had to redo alot of my work. Trial and error, you know how it goes. Stored for the winter to do a stock floor body drop, figured I would get it out one last day, drove it to work and never made it home. I was stopped in rush hour traffic and tagged from behind by a lady that never hit the brake, needless to say I was the salami in that sandwich, and another truck down. Thinking I was cursed with toyotas, I bought a new F150, those are not as easy to bag, and I had to sell it becuase my wife lost her job. Finally back in a position to get a truck, last summer I bought a 4runner off of ST Kenny in Tx. It is a good start, but I wanted to redo it. So, here I am, smack in the middle of another one. I have never had the glory of finishing a truck. Something has always happened to prevent that. It is like I am not meant to have a truck featured in a magazine. It kills me.

I changed up the frame a little as it was already stock floored, just needed alot of little stuff. Got it powdercoated and am trying to put it back together. I am working slow, and trying to get all the pieces powdercoated and detailed to the max. It is a great start for sure. Hell, I spent 50 bucks on grade 8 hardware just for the front suspension the other day. It would fulfill a lifelong dream to see the truck in a magazine, let alone at Sema. I have never asked for a handout for anything in my life, and have already purchased an Accuair setup, wheels and tires for my project, among alot of other misc items. I just have no idea how I am going to ever get this thing painted and the interior finished to where it needs to be. With work slowing down, and all the money I have already spent, this may be a 5 year project lol. I dont expect to win, I know there are alot of better candidates who are more deserving, but what the hell right. The pics before paint are not a show truck waiting to be repainted, but rather a good start to a long ass project. I am trying to do it all myself, and let me tell you, seperating a 4 runner from the frame by yourself in a 2 car garage is a bitch. I dont have alot of minitruckin friends that live close, and my neighbors are a bunch of hillbillies that dont understand. I had a rendering done, and had some sponsors listed thinking it would help me get a deal on their product. Reno made me a great deal, but the others not so much. Gotta try right? Thanks for looking.

my 2004 Chevy colorado.

I'm pretty open to ideas but want to go the street truck route. Would love to have a pro-touring style air bag suspension and a LS based V8 motor swap. I'm pretty satisfied with the exterior except maybe some minor tweaks to make things flow better. Interior would love to have redone with some leather and suede
