This is my 91 s-10, Ive been working on it for about a 1 1/2 years. I've got the truck bagged and sitting on a set of 18" black boss 338 wheels. Ive got the bed cut out and the front fender wells cut out so the truck lays frame. The truck has a stock 2.8L engine that I would love to have cleaned up, and has a 5 speed. My dreams for this truck would be a bodydrop, stock floor or traditional dosent matter, shave the doors, and tailgate handle yet have the early s-10 stamped tailgate on it. I would like to have a new chrome rear and front bumper, both smooth with no bolt holes. I would like to keep the wheel well chrome trim as well as the side moldings. I see a soild rear window installed. For the front I would like too have a chrome phantom grill with a chrome bumper. A flush mount toanneu cover as well as a targa top roof. The interior I'm open to thoughts because I havent gotten that far yet. The color ideas have bounced in my head but I still dont know what I would like too do with it. But when it comes to ideas you guys are the pros and I would trust your judgement and know that you will put together a winning truck for you and me. I'm a minitrucker till the end and I will gladly promote you and the truck with pride and go and do what you need me to do. Thanks for the contest.

1989 extended cab toyota. 3.25 inch body drop, set up to lay 18's, everything shaved, led tail lights, more pics on my profile. I got this truck from my Dad with the intention of it being my daily. Well as you can see it went far from that. I took it to a "shop" to have it built, traded a guy a bagged and bodied mazda for the work.Well, the work got half done. I had to trailer it home from louisiana with the bed just hanging on by some straps the front bag mounts bent on the way home and that was with it on the trailer. I tore everything out and started over. I have been working on this truck going on 6 years now and with the adoption of my son and taking care of the family while my wife goes to school full time the truck has been put on the back burner. I really want to get it done so my Dad can see where the truck he gave has gone. He wasn't happy I cut it up. That's the story for me truck is nearing completion just need interior and paint.

Wow, there are a lot of awesome project here so far! Im going to throw mine into the mix too.

Its a 1992 mazda b2200 (pretty common) with a full custom sealed frame, Indie rear, Lincoln MK8 driveline, stock bedfloor and bodydrop, custom sheetmetal dash, and shaved most everything. Ive been working on and off on it for about 4 1/2 years now, but it keeps getting shelved when I work on my friends stuff (they all know Im a sucker for frame builds, or anything that gives me an excuse to bust out a TIG welder). I keep threatening to charge em, but havent fund the heart to yet... Anyways, this thing just sits, and they all bust my chops about never finishing anything i start :POKE: It would be nice to see it done someday!

And heres the reasons you shouldnt pick this one. Firstly, Im Canadian, and am totally out of the running for this contest. Second, Im fully capable of finishing this thing myself... eventually.

I just wanted to post up and say that its really awesome to see a shop go this far out of their way to put something like this out there! Most all of us know firsthand how much work goes into these projects, so for a shop owner to stand back at the end of the day and wave as a truck rolls away, leaving him behind with empty pockets...... Well, sir, my hats off to you!

Good luck to everybody who is in the running for this, cant wait to see the outcome!

Jimmy, I wasn't sure how you were picking the "winner" so I didn't know if I needed to include that info, i also added a couple more pics

I have been "Minitruckin" for well over 10 yrs now, I started with a stock S10, I bagged and did all the bodywork myself but was never able to get it in to paint. After Having my first child and going through a rough divorce I was not able to put the money into the truck for up-keep or modifications and was forced to sell my fist mini. During this time my Step-Father (RIP) had givin me his stock 95 Toyota pick-up, and told me that "he wanted me to finish this one". My new wife and I saved pretty much every extra penny we had for the parts to Bag' the yota. During this time of saving and buying parts one-by-one I was in a injured in a work accident, which has left me temporarily totally disabled. after falling 30 feet while constructing the roof of a church I have been laid off due to my inability to perform the duties of my job. I sustained injuries that left me with chronic back and neck pain caused by burst discs, broken ribs, a small brain hemorrhage, limited use of my hands, the inability to sit, stand or walk for periods lasting longer than 20 minutes and the inability to lift anything greater that 10 pounds which, regretfully includes my 5-year old son who loves everything about minitruckin and our club = SUNSET= He loves going to shows, rollin' in the "mini," and tinkering in the garage. Like most fathers I hope to set a good example for my son and show him that minitruckin is not just a hobby- it's a lifestyle.

After talking to a Close friend about selling the parts that I had accumulated for the Yota he offered his garage and tools for me to bag the truck. well now I had the time, the place and the parts but no money for material and odds and ends. After coming to this realization and talking again to my buddies, One of them offered to Front the extra cash for material in return for some work on his truck. So we tore in to the yota and layed it out! (I will forever be Thankful for these guys!) I "Z'd" the frame, built lower "A-arms" and built a 5 link with Plate lift bars and body dropped the bed. I also shaved the handles, antenna, tailgate and 3rd break lite. fast forward a year and a half, the Yota is doing good but still in primer and not finished, and my Step Father has passed away suddenly of unknown causes, Just before his passing he again expressed his desire for me to build "something awesome out of nothing." His death was sudden and very difficult on me as we shared many fond memories, including our love of cars and trucks and anything custom and I am saddened that he was not able to the see the Yota finished before he passed away.

I don't really know when or if I will be able to Finish the Yota, Since becoming unemployed in 2009 I have been unable to finance my own projects but am blessed that, despite my accident, I am still able to help other mini-truckers acheive their goals for there trucks And try to help anytime I can. I do have plans for finishing the yota but have come to the realization that I wont be able to go all out like I had hoped so I have settled on 1 color, non body dropped and a simple interior. I would love to bodydrop the yota and do a "Over the top" old school "minitruck" paint job like the "Time Machine" or "last look" with a clean Suede and leather interior with a smoothed and painted dash and other accent pieces, Clean nice sounding stereo and a built motor. I already make all the Cali and AZ shows and cruise nights so taking the Sponsored truck to shows would be no problem. All in all I would love for it to be my truck that you pick, but after seeing the other entries I know its going to be a difficult decision for you, But I hope that it goes to someone that deserves it! Either way see you guys in AZ at "Bring the Noize"
