Truck: 1986 Mazda B2000 SE5113,xxx miles on stock 2.05 speedstd cab and bed
My plans:
Body mods: Phantom grill, 01+ headlights with hids, clear factory corners or shaved corners, shaved doors, antenna, mirrors and tailgate handle, one piece back window, suicide doors, tilt bed, roll pan with plate in the center, tinted windows, clear tailights. And the hail mary mod I've always wanted is a targa top, but I've yet to figure out a feasible way with a daily driven truck that would never see a garage
Interior:Black pleated door panels with yellow highlighted stitching, wrapped dash in black with yellow top stitching, yellow carpet, 2x10's behind the seat, 2x4's in the dash and 2x6's in kicker panels all run off an amp between the subs behind the seat, power windows and locks
S
uspension:4-link, small notch retaining stock floor in the bed, tubular control arms to eliminate torsion bars and correct some of the camber
Wheels: 16" spokes
Paint: Either a straight yellow (thinking a nice bright pearl) or if I had my every desire a crazy late 90's style design across the hood and lower section of the truck showing off serious graphic work and crazy pin striping around the graphics in bright colors with the yellow as the base with the inside of the bed lined, the frame painted yellow to match and if graphics were done, also done underneath the bed
Why me:
I'm adding this since I've seen you ask it a lot. Well, I've wanted a minitruck since the mid 90's when I first got exposed to one and I just got my first truck. I don't have the tools to work on it myself, nor the money or any friends in the scene. I also just wrecked it on ice going in to a 4 hour shift (serious hour cuts at work), so the driver's side of the bed and the driver's side of the cab behind the door have damage. Which considering I've gotten 10 hours each week for the last 3 weeks, with no end in sight, I won't be bringing any money to tool up much less perform any work any time soon. The truck is fully drivable and is (and even once fixed up) would be my daily. My original plan was to try and find local sponsors for parts in exchange for advertisement on the truck (since it would be daily driven) as well as an agreement to enter shows and advertise for sponsors but no one I spoke to locally thought it worth their time. So I've given up on that route. I'd be more than willing to drive the car out to you guys and absolutely stoked to put in serious time doing work on the truck myself. I have numerous small details that I want to do but I don't want to divulge, so if you were seriously considering me I'd be more than glad to share them with you. I don't have a rendering as you'll see because I'm no good with computer editing and such, but I'd be more than willing to have one done if I was seriously being considered. The reason for keeping everything under the stock bed is 1) cleanliness, I just love a clean truck 2) a daily truck gets driven, and with me, it also gets used as a truck which I notice many trucks aside from duallys don't anymore. I want to show it CAN be done and encourage others to do it as well.
Only picture I have of the truck the day I bought it. My cell managed to eat the others I took.
