Guess I'll throw mine into the mix..

I bought this truck brand new off the showroom floor Sept 1995. I think it had less than 500 miles when I first started to modify it at some point. The first modification was a different exhaust and while the guy was building the exhaust he asked if I had repainted it. Once I told him no it only had like 500 miles on it he asked why I needed a new exhaust and I replied "Because it was to quiet."

I've always been into some sort of a customization of some sort. My first club that I joined was back in 91 so I've been around for awhile (and don't plan on going anywhere soon).

As far as the truck goes.. It's a 95 Ranger X-cab with a 2.2l 4 cyl. The truck sits on 20" TSW Mondellos currently and is body dropped to only lay out on 20's so it can't really go bigger. The front part of the frame is a modified front end off a 89-94 toyota truck and from the firewall back it is a full custom frame made of 2x3 with a bunch of tubular supports. The rear part of the frame is the air tank.

For air supply currently I will be running a engine driven compressor which will mostly be in use with 2 Viair chrome 380's for backups.

Shocks I currently am running Doestch Tech 2.0 full alluminum bodied on the rear and haven't got the fronts yet.

So far this truck has been in the works for the last 3.5 years and I've been itching to drive it once it is done. Prior to dropping the truck off at the shop it was at pretty much every major event on the west coast, with a bunch of small events as well and now that it is coming out I plan on taking it further east.

Here is a little history of the truck.. One of the oldest pics I have of it..

Frenched ford emblem in the tailgate..

When it first was bagged on 17's

20's that are currently on it..

Currently the truck is at ASC Speed Metal getting to a rollin state. There have been many more updates as of late but I don't have any current pics of its condition. I am hoping to get the truck finished and rolling so that I can drag it out to Art of Noise. If I don't make it to that then it definitely will be at Forbidden in March..

Also as far as paint goes.. I don't have a rendering yet however I can come up with one if needed. Honestly I would like to see my truck with a nice simple two color paint job. Simple graphics as well because the worst thing I think that some trucks can do is go to wild. With really wild paint jobs they seem to really date a truck. Where as when it is done simple and clean the truck is always in style..

This is something like I was thinking..

I'm asking this for everyone elses info. In Bob's introductory paragraph it says to submit photos and a rendering. I notice not many people have a rendering. Does this mean they are disqualified or is the rendering requested AFTER you have selected the winner?

WE WILL GO AHEAD AND WAVE THE RENDERING RULE. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW UR THOUGHTS ON HOW U WANT UR TRUCK TO LOOK BUT NOT A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE WILL TO PAY TO HAVE A RENDERING DONE SO WHEN WE PICK THE FINALIST I WILL CALL THE AND FIGURE OUT WHAT KIND OF PAINT WORK WE CAN COME UP WITH.
