The suspension works great. It does not bind or hit the frame anywhere in the suspension cycle. Its only gonna get 7" or so inches of lift being a bag over the axle set up but even with the rear end all the way to the notch and all the way down to the table it does not bind or hit the frame. The upper links do center the axle very well but I'm going to build a watts link for it just to be on the safe side. It may be a "non-conventional" or "busy" looking but it works good. I was told to 4 link it and put the bags over the axle and this is what I came up with. I'm a part time builder that has only built a few trucks. I'm sorry I dont have the tools, time and experience to produce like the big time shops. I hope someday I can build something that badass and clean but everyone has to start somewhere. I work a 9-5 plus I own some rentals, mowing business, and have a wife and 3 kids so time is not really on my side.
We had a lot of square tubing available so it was decided that was what the "theme" of the rear end. The original plan was to build the bridge, watts etc similar to the upper control arms but why spend all that time and extra money when 2x2 was readily available and it'll be covered up in the end anyways. The back floor behind the seat will be a flush flat floor just above the notch back. I'm sure it will dip down behind the notch a little bit too. The fuel cell will be in the back section of the frame. The plan is to access the bags from inside on a hinged door.

I was not trying to rip on the setup that you are building. I just feel like the lower bars are too far inboard. It is best to have your lower bars as far outboard as possible, especially when towing. The axle may tend to torque under load, and want to steer a bit, or fatigue some of the parts.

I Also feel like a Watt's link may work against you, unless set up just perfectly. Watt's links do not always keep the axle perfectly centered, there can be some movement, depending on how it is set up, length of arms, length of the center pivot, etc.

I'm just trying to give me input to help out. Not trying to bash anyone. You can take it or leave it, I do not really care.

I appreciate it. I'm always open to opinions / suggestions. That helps me learn / better myself.

Its my friends dad's F100. Gonna be low as shit static on steelies. Has a a vette IFS in it I think. Its notched and has a wishbone link set up. Gonna be on coilovers.

Progress on the burban. Body is sitting on it, cummins fits under the stock hood.

wicked cool, dude. Isn't it a little freaky how narrow the frame is for that wide a body? I'm just saying from personal experience, when the dude was building my frame i was thinking, "that's awful narrow.." lol. Looks really good dude. And did you narrow the axles in the rear or do the 26's just make it look that way??

Haha yeah the frames are pretty narrow these things. The rear end housing is narrowed and has new axle shafts from Moser. It needs to be cleaned out still and then find someone who can make a drive shaft that works with the cummins / ford rear end.
