Well if your gonna have 700 hp the first mistake would have been getting a wishbone suspension that should have thrown up a flag but hey it was your chioce to go to him no one made you. It could have turned out a lot worse then what it did.

--------------------------------------------

first nothing wrong with a wishbone and 700 hp if set up correctly... but this one isnt..

second he was supposed to get a 4 link and this wishbone is what he got

--------------------------------------------

I KNOW you're not offering advice on suspension work Potter.

--------------------------------------------

Now we are getting off topic. The issue is a bad deal between the threads author, and Dan. Anything that you have against Potter should be addressed with him and not a cheap shot on any given thread.

Just sayin!

Justin if you only knew the story behind Milos comment...

This will update ya...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DcHfD2N8B0I&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Milo wasn't throwing a cheap shot..eve heard the expression "Pot calling the kettle black"!!!

My advice to Dan is to make it right...I've had deadline issues with my customers in the past...as well as a few problems unplanned problems with vehicles I've built...regardless of the price you charged, or how much you didn't make on a deal the customer is always right. I've cut what very little profit I've made off of a deal just to make up for missed deadlines. If theres an issue...fix it. I totally understand the situation Dan's in...having a full time job and running a shop on the side is hard. Customers don't always understand why you can't work a real job, have a life, and finish their truck in the same time frame as a full time shop. Which is exactly why I don't run a shop on the side anymore...I hope the author and Dan can come to an agreement about the deal. If not get it fixes then atleast come to a money agreement...threads like this aren't good for no one.

Well said man and the issue with Potter is obviously another story. I'm not here to take any sides. I don't know Dan personally but he needs to make it right. I'm sure we all don't know the full story. BTW where is Dan anyways. He needs to post, if he doesn't stand up for himself then it will lead everyone to believe that he is hiding something and I would really hate to see his shop go downhill. No worries though, there is only 3 shops in Houston that I will let touch my truck and there names speak for themselves......

Justin I wish you knew the whole story, and one thing I don't do is take cheap shots. I kept it short and sweet. I'm just the type of person if I can't do a better job than you, i'm not going to sit here and pretend I do and tell you how it should of been done.

this shit is cracking me up.....there are two sides to every story......we fixed some hack stuff that a popular Texas shop mentioned in this thread did....I couldnt believe it at first....this thing could have killed someone.......BUT.....there was another side to the story.....all in all.....no reason for shady work like this....no matter what the situation is...but Dan is a good dude...and Im sure he tried to make it right!

i wish he would of tried to make it right but he didnt. give my money back or something but nope. Dan told me " that he wouldnt do crappy work or half ass work and would rather give me my truck back then do half ass work" and then this is what i get after he tells me that.

and the week before i got it back he wouldnt answer any calls or texts nor would he return any calls or texts. leaving me to go to his house where he was but wouldnt get out of bed to come talk to me and had his mom talk to me and tell me he would meet me at his shop to give my truck back at 6pm that day. but he then wouldnt show up to give my truck back and just left it outside his shop. and when i arrived he texted me reminding that it needed transmission fluid cause he had leaked most of it out and didnt replace like he said he would and even noted on the window to remind him. he didnt try in any way to make it right
