So....why did you want to pay someone else to bag your truck to begin with...? have you never owned a vehicle with air ride, or have no space or tools or know how to do it yourself? I understand some people don't, but It reminds me of the saying "there's two sides to every story, then there is the truth." Too bad the stories the two people involved and none of us will actually know the "truth" due to SOME mis-tellings. But pictures do not lie; if someone is willing to make something right from the beginning, I'd say let them do it if it could only better the work and will cost nothing. I always hate to see stuff like this come up, and I personally know Dan, and he's a nice guy, so IMO give him a chance and a decent time frame. Do YOU work a full time job and own a shop on the side and still have to deal with customers? It's not easy. A friend of mine went through a well renoun shop (no longer in business) like this in houston years ago, and it was redone by then and turned out great, but its YOUR truck and YOUR money but all any of us can do is offer our personal advice. I don't personally know you and how you are as a person, but in the end its up to you what your going to do, either take a chance to let the man make up for what he did wrong, or keep bashing the guy and take it somewhere else. If you messed up bad on something for someone else, wouldn't you feel bad want to make it right as a man to redeem yourself? Seems as though these days nobody can picture themselves in someone else's shoes and what they go through day to day....but good luck and I hope it all works out for both of you!

Ha..missing the sway bar. News flash homie...95% of the bagged trucks on the road don't have a swaybar...and 50% of those don't have front shocks. Lol

Well said Homie! Lol, don't recall ever having a sway bar on any of my trucks.

this is true, but im also going to point out that im a very ugly dude & at certain angles i could look like tom cruise. truth isn't always in the pics, put a stress test on that shit & tell me how it holds. will it with stand 700 hp?? probably not & im referring to the axle tabs BTW. the job wasnt meant to be rushed but in the end there were some over sights. when you're wrong you're wrong plain & simple. he could of also "tried to contact me" after he made these discoveries instead of running to the internet. just because i didnt answer back to the texts or return any calls didnt mean i didnt get them.

--------------------------------------------

Seriously dude wtf did you just say? You just wrote you should of contacted me and then you admitted to ignoring his phone calls and text messages... Then you just admitted to your work being shitty by saying the rear suspension will not hold up to the truck? WTF....If you ask me i think you should give him his money back and pay for it to get fixed.

BULTER you should print this forum out and take him to court because he just agreed on everything butler stated was wrong with his truck. Im sure you could win and make him pay court cost at that....

DAN THROW YOUR DAMN WELDER AWAY SO WE CAN ALL SURVIVE ON THE ROADS. IF I WANT BUBBLEGUM I'LL GO TO CANDY STORE~!

PEACE!

I would get a legal binding contract with a specific date it had to be completed if you end up taking it back. That is how the oil and gas industry works. If we are late on a project we are fined daily! Give the man a shot! Just cover your own ass and come up with a REASONABLE binding contract. Don't expect it overnight though.

Dan, it takes a big man to admit he is wrong, especially out in the public. I lost a little respect for you when this arose but by admitting you are wrong and saying you will fix it you are gaining mine and Im sure everyone elses respect back.

Wow! just read the post above! And he is right. Knowingly setting up a suspension to fail is wrong in so many ways. Get your money back, the quality just can not be trusted. You may have screwed yourself though cause I am sure you took it to Dotlow because the 2 reputable shops ekstensive and chaotic were too high? Am I right? Now you have to pay double to get someone else to fix it. Save yourself time and grief and take it to the pros....

Dan, I just don't know what to say.....

Are you fucking kidding me having ur mommy handle ur business thats pretty lame dude, an telling him to contact you and then you ignoreing his calls and text wtf is that. an on top off that not being man enough to show up at your shop to give him his truck back is pretty dam coward to me

butler if i were you id try to take him to court. he clearly said that he could do the job and then did a sloppy job that he admits cant handle the HP off your truck. an then wants you to take it him for a secound chance thats bullshit he shoulda did it right in the first place. I know its hard having a fulltime job, and handling a shop but if its to much an you cant get it done in time then why bother doing it at all. best of luck to you i hope you guys come to an agreement or something.

Its just shitty that a dude thats in a very reputable club like Aftertermath where one of there motos is "quality an not quanity" would put out so not so quality stuff just my two cents

^ your crossing the line

I am not going to take sides, I dont even live in the fu*&en state. But to be honest from my POV it looks poorly upon the club as a whole. To have a member who is a "fab guy" that owns a "shop" that admits his work was complete poo yet reps the club hard just cant be good for your image as a whole. So I dont think Jason so much as crossed a line as straddled it stating a very valid point.
