I'm building a full frame for a 98 Blazer bodied on 20's...the guy bought it hacked to pieces and some how managed not to kill anyone while he was driving it around. Its a budget build...so its nothing special...just solid and get the job done. The front clip was trashed so I decided to do a full frame and narrow the track width a little so he can turn low. So far Ive been working on it 10 days off and on in my spare time. Some might know the truck...It was bodied on Intro 22's.
Some of the awesome work...there's plenty more of the actual frame i'll snap later...but this was the rearend...which can give you an idea.
Here's were Im at so far...like I said it is a budget build so I went with a 2-link. Bars are 33 inches long so pinion change should be minor...not the best...but far from the worst. The frame is pretty boxy...not necessarily like it...but its what's in the budget. Truck had tubular arms on it...I think their BYC arms...but I'm not 100% sure. Their ok quality and I'm gonna try and use them. I havent looked them over much as their still on the frame in my backyard. It should be a roller by the weekend. Like I said its a cut and butt frame with a 2-link but that's what was in the budget and I'm helping a buddy out who traded for a hacked truck.
