I'm getting my truck setup to tow my 36' gooseneck race car trailer and thought I would run a few things by you guys to get your opinions????
2000 Chev,crew cab,long box,7.4,auto
Front
3" spindles,RE 8's,Bell Tech shocks
Rear
2 link off stock spring hangers, panhard,Bell Tech c-notch,RE 8's,shock extensions Monroe "reflex" shocks
Control
2 Viair 400's,2- 6 gallon and 2 3 gallon tanks,Dakota Digital gauges
Wheels/Tires
4-22" shaved classics,4-265/35/22 tires,2-225/75/16 inner rears 10 ply
I'm thinking of boxing the rear frame section so I have some strength for my goosneck hitch. Anything else that would neesd to be done to make a SAFE and RELIABLE hauler? We already beefed up the 2 link bars and they are WAY overkill and next on the list is to gusset the top bag mounts on the rear also.
