Here is my .02 If your going to do any kind of heavy hauling put the bags over the axle, I have seen those two link bars bend and even brake. As far as the ride quality I like the way mine rides. I used to run a steel inner but was wearing thru tires too fast. Your not ever going to get exact but real close as far as the same tire size as the 22. I used to haul with the steel inner and never had a problem. IMO if you want to do it right run the same size wheels and tires all the way around and put the bags over the axle. Here is a picture of when I hauled my other truck around, I hadn't c-nothed the frame yet but my bags were over the axle.

Nice truck!!!!
Do you have any pictures of your suspension setup? What part # bags are you running? What about front bags?

Thats hauling some serious weight! Does the inner tire wear out faster or the outer? What are you running for suspension setup?

here is my rear setup to tow. just no chicks.........................
i have goodyear 2b12_406 semi bags in the rear. 2 linked and a bar that ties the 2 links together and extra brackets that go to the axel to destribute the weight from the 2 link to the axel. everything is 1/4 thick. mines a 07. frames are a tad different.

Tell me about it.. The inner tires would wear out fast, i guess due to the weight I was hauling, my rear is a 2 link with bags over axle(HE-8) the front drop beams with HE-8 bags.(for now)2-5gal tanks with a engine driven comp.

How many miles did you get out of the inner tires? Were you running 265/35/22 and 225/75/16 setup?
